My sense is that there would not be extremely visible door-to-door confiscation efforts. There will be no blaze-of-glory rallying moments.

By “registration”, meaning illegal use of BATF 4473’s which imply that if you bought it from an FFL holder, you own it in perpetuity? Sorry, doesn’t work that way. To have a `registration law’ you have to have a `deregistration law’.

That’s what `universal background checks’ are supposed to achieve. But that’s not the law yet.

If the Feds bang on your door and yell “we know you OWN that AR-15!!” your legal reply is “I sold that years ago!”

If they then drag you away and toss you in jail, then fascistic rule has arrived. But this isn’t the Third Reich or the USSR. Word gets around and then the shooting starts.

Of course they will do illegal stuff. There are NOT going to be door-to-door confiscations if President Kamala Harris gets into office.

They will just switch-off your water, food delivery, mail, electricity, natural gas, heating oil, bank accounts, and credit cards. Most will crack.

They will also tell your employer you failed to participate in the national gun buyback to "boost the health" of the nation and your employer might be paying a salary...to a potential terrorist and likely felon.

If she becomes the POTUS and gets draconian gun-grabber executive orders established, my bet is 90% will turn-in guns after a few days without WiFi functioning and no hot water.
