Weird. Go to the NYPost. He was wearing a matching cap and mask, red white and blue, with some kind of symbols on it that I couldn’t identify (also, it was a cell phone photo from a distance).
He shot at the doors. They have some big bronze doors there and he fired at them and yelled “kill me, kill me” to the cops. The post says he was 52 years old but no other info.
I grew up just down the street, although since I’m Catholic I never went there except for concerts and poetry readings when I was an adult. By then it was true Episcopalian weirdness...they had an installed an “environmental” algae tank in the vestibule to show their unity with “creation.” They got there long before Bergoglio.
Knew about the Blessing of animals there... and not just house pets but I recall a burro at ome time. So the algae tanks comes as no surprise.
