Google has already lost billions of dollars developing the infrastructure YouTube has for the massive amount of bandwidth it uses. You can't tank YouTube, you would have to tank Google as whole which subsidizes it.

Google is more than happy to lose tens of billions of dollars, because they control most of the internet and that is worth the loss.

Honestly, I don’t think it matters. If you could somehow show them proof of voter fraud that swung the election in a way that they couldn’t deny, they would simply go to their fallback position of the popular vote being the only that that should matter. Their political ends justify the means.

In a way it’s like we’re having political arguments with defense lawyers. It’s not about the truth but what they can get the jury/public to believe.

On the other hand, Taibbi is really ignorant about glaring security problems of voting machine and potential abuse of mail-in ballots. If he believes they are all merely a fantasy since courts say so, he is not up to realizing the true extent of vote fraud.

Bulloney. Conservatism is being silenced. For most of American history there were usually 2 loud newspaper voices hammering out the rhetoric and invective.

Today there is one YUGE libtard voice and one small pipsqueak conservatards voice.

Yeah, I know. They can dismiss all evidence using their convenient logic of choice. My point was that it will still have consequences. It will cause half of the population to split away. Not necessarily in territorial terms, even though they could happen down the road. People will segregate themselves into two groups. Nobody want to live in an environment where their views are always condemned and subject to many kind of legal or other kinds of punishment.

That will be the real consequence of this rigged election and censorship of conservative opinions. Until they see it unfolding with their eyes, no amount of words will change the arrogant mind of ruling elites.

Taibbi has always been one who will run a story even if it doesn’t support The Narrative. Like Bill Maher on the topic of Islam, he has his own views and isn’t afraid to air them.

YouTube is a loss on paper only. It earns what it is intended to earn: influence of popular perception. Google search is the same. When it comes down to it, Alphabet is in the business of perception manipulation. Initially to sell advertising, but then they got political ...

Google was always political. They operated in the most Machiavellian fashion. Google and Amazon both made sure to entrench themselves into dominance and thanks to the Network Effect, they have control over their respective sectors.

This was always their agenda.

Lie One: It was targeted to four states and concentrated to specific counties within those states.

More than 4 states. Project Veritas has tape of paid ballot harvesting in Minnesota.

Oh, I totally agree. That’s better than a shooting war, and it will probably help create starker territorial lines over time for a cleaner formal split.

There’s really no choice for me. I’m personally divorcing myself and my wallet from everything left-wing as much as possible. If I know a business to even be nominally leftist aligned, I’ll go somewhere else.

I used to hate read LW sites. No more. Every click gets them paid, and it’s a waste of time anyway since I already know what they’re going to say about anything before they type it up. I would love to see this site block linking to these outfits too. Driving traffic to them effectively fuels their propaganda machine against us.

That’s a great point. Democrats don’t want truth here. They want to win.

Thanks for posting this. It is bold for a liberal to write such an article. I’ll bet he gets a lot of hate mail from the left.

No, this guy is a messed up leftist. He is a clown who “believes” instead of studying the facts.

He “believes” Biden won. He ‘believes” that if YouTube just lets all of us “rabble” just be allowed to talk that we will stay outta the streets and sit back and wait for the next RINO to lose another fake election.

This guy may be honest with his words, but he thinks just like the rest of the pompous ass RAT media.

Not gonna happen Matt, too late. We will make sure all of your little RAT lives are as miserable as you have made us the last 4 years with your fake news, skanky grimy antifa and BLM burning and looting just because they can.

You Matt, are a coward. Your words prove it.

McNothing lol. Pencilhead.

Taibbi raises a point he didn't even make. WE should keep the NeverTrumpers out of the GOP. Do not let them back into the party machinery.

"Close your eyes and imagine what would have happened if Facebook and Google had banned 9/11 Truth on the advice of intelligence officials in the Bush years"

That's not the correct metaphor. What would have happened if FB, Goog, and Jack had banned keywords like "Gorelick Wall".

As it was, the media and Goog did do a remarkable job covering up the massive loss of personal and data privacy entrailed into The Patriot Act, which is about to transmogrify into the Americanized version of Chinese social credit.
