The supreme court is showing itself to be more centrist. The majority of the Supreme Court are all Catholic. They cannot escape the church’s influence in terms of the hierarchical legacy of the Catholic church.

Many of us complained about this through Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, and Barrett. Although Gorsuch isn’t a practicing Catholic, he was raised Catholic. Evangelicals never were on PDJT’s short list for SCOTUS even though, as a rule, evangelicals are more politically and socially conservative than Catholics. Diversity on SCOTUS would have been helpful. If there were a better mix, there’s a good chance we wouldn’t be in our current mess.
