Its certainly not Barr’s or the DOJ’s job to release details of investigations as-you-go, and its certainly not part of the culture of any serious law-enforcement agency. He can justifiably claim (even if it may be BS) that he wants to keep the DOJ politically neutral. So that’s what he is doing.
No one here knows his real motives, so I am simply arguing - he has cover for his actions, which we can at present can not prove, or disprove.
the real JOB of doing “real-time” reporting on Hunter Biden is a free and open media. And in that regard, our MSM, corrupt media have proven themselves to be the biggest hypocrites so far.
Please tell me why the DOJ is obligated to publish information about current investigations having condiderable depth and breadth, effecting the core of our Republic. Is it to satisfy some personal passion of yours? Has it ever occurred to you that stealth goes a long way in snaring a prize? Do you really expect major media to report fairly and squarely when certain high level individuals are cuffed, tried, and executed? Justice is dispassionate. It is not the media-soaked, dumbass raging mob I often read here (of all places).
Didn’t the FBI have Hunter’s laptop long before Biden was the candidate? Hunter should have been fair game.

Obviously the entire media establishment is bound by the same rules as the Justice Department regarding hiding incriminating information about democrat politicians and their family members until after an election.

I don’t watch Fox and I certainly don’t watch Wallace. Ever since his debate performance I started turning off Fox every time he came on. Since election night I switched off Fox, tuned into Newsmax and LS, and haven’t turned on Fox again.

Wrong. Don’t allow Fake News Wallace to move the goal posts. The FIB hid the Hunter laptop DUIRNG impeachment. IT was DIRECTLY related to the impeachment case and EXONERATED POTUS. In no universe is Barr’s conduct acceptable here.

Same here. If I have no interest in watching liberal news people on CNN, why would I have an interest in them on Fox? And if I wanted to hear from a Chris Wallace-type, I’d go straight to the the other networks. I don’t need Fox for that.

FBI actually took possession of it in December 2019.
Election held November 3, 2020.
Justice Dept guidelines are against initiating and announcing an investigation of a candidate within 60 days of an election.
They had the laptop for 11 months prior.
Hunter Biden wasn’t a candidate.
