Can’t make payments? No problem. We’ll just give you the house.
Gentrification? Go to school, learn civilized values, raise your children through discipline, teach respect, apply yourself and your particular talent, if any - then you too can take advantage of better life.
Bitching and complaining and looking for hand-outs does not help your complaints about “gentrification”.
I’m a sucker for making every mortgage payment, never missing or being late.
Gentrification’s violence but apparently so is white flight. Maybe if they were just left alone with their own demographic they’d be swimming in success kind of like every country in Africa, or in Haiti.
Well, there you go.
Banks will not have the option to refuse to lend, and they will not be allowed to foreclose. Therefore, in cases where the borrower cannot or chooses not to repay the loan, the bank will just have to cancel it. Then, the bank will have to lend to the same people again.
I suppose it all ultimately ends up on the taxpayer, one way or another.
Shame on Fox News for repeatedly saying the Kinney family "has owned" the house since the 1950s. They do not own it now: Mr. Ozeruga's company presently owns it.
The owner paid property taxes.
Suckah.
Oh no, no, no...banks are falling all over themselves to lend to blacks. I work for one of the biggest banks and they are “investing” billions to help the poor downtrodden blacks while everyone else still needs to practically bleed to get a loan.
In portlandia, possibly.
The parcel it sits on, you bet. The new owners intended on razing it and building something profitable.
From what I've read, the house was paid off and then a family member started getting in trouble with the law, necessitating home equity loans that weren't paid back.
Just part of the push for justice and equality. WTH?! And in reality, the state owns it as long as property taxes are due. And that will be forever.
Jimi Hendrix Lyrics
“Red House”
There’s a Red House over yonder
That’s where my baby stays
There’s a Red House over yonder, baby
That’s where my baby stays
Well, I ain’t been home to see my baby,
in ninety nine and one half days.
‘Bout time I see her,
Wait a minute something’s wrong here
The key won’t unlock the door.
Wait a minute something’s wrong baby,
Lord, have mercy, this key won’t unlock this door,
something’s goin’ on here.
I have a bad bad feeling
that my baby don’t live here no more.
That’s all right, I still got my guitar
Look out now . . .
I might as well go on back down
go back ‘cross yonder over the hill
I might as well go back over yonder
way back over yonder ‘cross the hill,
(That’s where I came from.)
‘Cause if my baby don’t love me no more,
I know her sister will!
There's one in every crowd. What's left of America depends upon you.
Sorry to say certain people are "more equal" than you are so they may get free stuff or burn down a city if they don't.
“We’ve already offered to sell back the property at cost because, of course, we’ve paid taxes, legal fees, bank fees, etc.”
“From what I’ve read, the house was paid off and then a family member started getting in trouble with the law, necessitating home equity loans that weren’t paid back.”
Article:The Kinneys paid off their house but took out a new mortgage to pay defense lawyers after a family member was arrested in 2002, the Red House on the Mississippi group has said.
These so-called “black and indigenous” a holes style themselves as “Moorish Americans,” aka Moor-ons. They are unhinged, delusional and have become increasingly more dangerous.
That’s a point.
