Virginia will be under a nightly curfew from midnight until 5 a.m., and social gatherings will be limited to 10 people under new public restrictions meant to stem the surge of COVID-19 expected to go into effect Monday.
Gov. Ralph Northam announced the new restrictions Thursday afternoon, citing an untamed spike of COVID-19 cases in the state in the middle of the busy holiday season.

NC sez the virus is only effective in bars after 9pm and most businesses have to close by 10 because the virus has a watch.
Not sure what science they are following but I am guessing it involves dolls, pins and headless chickens waved wildly overhead.
I’m really at a loss to understand who gave these communists all this power. What next, dissolving the legislature and courts? Invoking Martial Law?
Are they going to add a ball-gag when they tighten mask restrictions?
Now there are rules that you must tighten your mask? Mine was too tight already!
If they can’t even ask what curfews do to curtail a virus, then your question is waaaay beyond their ability to do just a little critical thinking.

Northam said the gathering limits won’t restrict restaurants. Northam said he thinks Virginia restaurant restrictions are adequate.
Those include no bar seating, distancing between tables and other measures that essentially bring capacity down to 50% or below. New measures put in place before Thanksgiving cut off alcohol sales at 10 p.m. and closed restaurants at midnight.
From the article, “that includes private residences”. Wow! So families are now legally bound to wear masks in THEIR OWN HOMES if people come within 6 feet of each other?!
I don’t really see the point in this...
The “modified stay-at-home order” [or curfew] will be from midnight to 5 a.m. everyday starting at 12:01 a.m. Monday.
That will exclude those going to work and other essential travel (buying food, getting medical attention, etc.)
Teachers will get priority? F-him!!

Teachers would not go to work, they should be LAST! Retail workers should go first!
