Pennsylvania officials on Thursday filed a blistering brief at the Supreme Court rebuking the Texas lawsuit seeking to overturn President Donald Trump's defeat in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, casting the move as using a "cacophony of bogus claims" to support a "seditious abuse of the judicial process."
"Texas seeks to invalidate elections in four states for yielding results with which it disagrees. Its request for this Court to exercise its original jurisdiction and then anoint Texas's preferred candidate for President is legally indefensible and is an affront to principles of constitutional democracy," wrote Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro.
The lawsuit, the court filing said, rested on a "surreal alternate reality."
"Texas's effort to get this Court to pick the next President has no basis in law or fact. The Court should not abide this seditious abuse of the judicial process, and should send a clear and unmistakable signal that such abuse must never be replicated."

yep
as a Pennsylvanian
I say nice also
we should have a nice delegation in DC tomorrow
Shapiro is a total hack asshole. Just like Kathleen Kane, he will be in prison soon enough. He cheated to get reelected. He will be sent packing when all the fraud ballots are thrown out. Then Shapiro will just be another private inmate.
Oh noes, not a ‘blistering rebuke’. Whatever shall we do now?
“Blistering Rebuke”? I don’t really see a legal argument in that response. Just a bunch of adjectives.
Although all four states circumvented the Constitution as well as their own state laws.
By their cheating for Biden, they invalidated millions of votes casted by their citizens who voted for Trump.
That could finally give the USSC cover, if true. I am tending to take everything good with a grain of salt right now. At least it is not a bombshell kraken maneuver.
Real CNN bombshell right there!
“but PA has not said they didn’t cheat.”
Did they even argue the points that Texas made, or is that so hopeless that they didn’t contest them?
There, translated from Pravda to rational human.
They’d look a LOT better wearing orange jumpsuits.
“... seeking to invalidate millions of votes”
But CNN doesn’t seem to mind invalidating 75,000,000 Trump votes.
In other words PA has no good defense except outrage.

Bing. I read the post several times, and even the original story at, gag, CNN, but found squat that addressed the actual legal issues. SCOTUS will dream up clever reasons to do nothing, but the AG’s are just barking.
Did they address the unconstitutional changes in their election laws, or just spastically fulminate against Texas calling them out on royally screwing the pooch?
The suit does NOT ask the Supreme Court to pick the President.
Jeez, what's wrong with those Texans? Don't they know you're supposed to get the poll workers and tabulator techs to pick the next POTUS??
Why don’t these guys arrange for a special session and just name Trump Electors, rather than sending crap to a court?
