To secure the standing question, the President joined/intervened in the suit. That takes care of standing. No one has more standing than he.

SCOTUS will relegate it’s power to that of Janitorial Staff if it does so.
My guess, they will uphold the precedent held in Florida vs Bush in 2000, where Florida tried to change their electoral process without Florida legislation authorization. To my simple non-lawyer mind this is a no-brainer for the USSC.
I have read some opinions of conservative legal brains and their thinking is that 1) this election was fraudulent and 2) SCOTUS is unlikely to take THIS case because it isn’t on solid ground, constitutionally. The idea(s) seemed to be their were/are better ways to present the problem to SCOTUS.
I don’t know- I expect it’s 50/50.
