New York State Attorney General Letitia James said Tuesday on ABC’s “The View” that President Donald Trump could not “avoid justice” in New York even with a possible maneuver like stepping down before January 20 and having a then-sworn-in President Mike Pence pardon him.
James said, “The vast majority of legal scholars have indicated that he cannot pardon himself. What he could do is step down and allow the vice president, Vice President Pence, to pardon him. In all likelihood, I suspect he’ll pardon his family members, his children, his son-in-law, and individuals in his administration, as well as some of his close associates. And then I suspect at some point he’ll step down and allow the vice president to pardon him.”
She added, “Now, it’s important to understand he’s pardoned from federal crimes, but he is not pardoned from state crimes. Last year I introduced a bill in the state legislature which would close the pardon loophole so that individuals such as the president of the United States would not evade justice. It’s important that we have this check on presidential powers and that the state legislature. I’m so happy they passed that bill, and it’s now the law in the state of New York. President Trump cannot avoid justice in the great state of New York.”

So how many more millions of the taxpayer’s dollars does she propose wasting in failed attempts to bring down President Trump?
He left Hillary and company alone it would be only right to return the favor
No trace of her would ever be found.
Trump can pardon for federal crimes but not state ones.
She sure is a big talker.
Yeah, I can see how that would grate on the left.
“Have this woman arrested for sedition, and likewise any New York State officials who join with her.”
Leftist corruptocrat playing legal scholar
Those who deny constitutional rights to others must be denied their constitutional rights

“NY AG James: Even With Pardon Trump ‘Cannot Avoid Justice’ New York State”
Wanna bet, Nazi whore?
This fn cow is trying to make a name for herself. When she steps down from the AG post Trump should go after her unrelenting. She will no longer have the power and resources the state and media provide, trump will
She is on a power trip. She would say that even though she knew she had zero. She gets attention, throws her weight, lets everyone know she is a player, gets to sit and chat of the TV shows with all the old hens. And she thinks it might garner her a few votes.
At this point , does anyone remember the previous AG in New York/-—or maybe it was two back....another one, can’t remember his name, who was trying to make a spurious career out of doing nothing but threatening Trump with all manner of prosecutions for just about everything, all of it boiling down to “just for being Trump”. A whole lot of very sordid stuff came out about his various assaults and sick sadistic domination of girlfriends, really sick and perverse mind games and threats, and the guy just disappeared, with virtually no follow up or interest shown in him by the bought and paid for NY Press.
Apparently this third-rate Affirmative Action AG has NOTHING to do all day, in crime-ridden NY, but make up frivolous lawsuits in an attempt to hurt Trump. Isn’t there a possibility of suing her for bringing harrassing lawsuits without merit? The law wasn’t meant to be used as a political cudgel.
To answer my previous question. it was Eric Schneiderman-—look him up and the New Yorker story done by Ronan Farrow from 2018. It was so bad even Andrew Cuomo called for his resignation.A very vocal “supporter” of the MeToo movement, who was a serial abuser of women.Sick sick SOB——Trump may have made some mistakes with women (Stormy, for one), but the mythical perversities they were floating about him 3-4 years ago, would prove to be, as always, 100% projection. Schneiderman’s history is a good example, and a good place to start.
That pug-ugly ho needs to drink a tall glass of STFU and then GTFO.
It has been my contention for a year that If Trump loses the presidency he will be arrested. Newly dictatorial regimes almost always arrest and try their predecessors in Tribunals or Kangaroo Kourts..
“Litigia” would be more appropriate…
“Cratered”
