I really wish these Liberal Democrats who wear a Republican mask, would just be honest about ONE thing - their actual political affiliation. Romney lost his POTUS run for many reasons, not the least of which - he ran as a Republican, yet republican voters just didn’t turn out for him... why? Because many knew he is - AT BEST - a RINO.
And he has been bitter about that - and with the rise of DJT- his bitterness and jealousy now rages like a bad case of roid-rage.
Something is clearly not right with Mitty. Chinese payola, past indiscretions—it needs definition. His muttering and alignment is at great odds with normal behavior. The Flake of today’s Senate.

What I can’t figure out is what audience he is posturing for?
1. Rand-and-file GOP - Can’t be he’s lost that bubble & nothing he has been saying (considering its like 95+%) pro-Trump is going to regain that.
2. Utah voters so he can stay senator maybe? Ok? I guess ! Is he counting on the local Mormon Bishops keeping the flock on the Romney plantation? So it doesn’t mater what he says?
3. Chinese bribe money ? - Not money well spent ! I mean who is influenced by Romney other then a small cliché in Utah. Just to have another senator in their pocket? I guess maybe ? Still seems to be a weak conclusion.
4. He’s a pompous jerk who is all butt-hurt because Trump won & he didn’t. That’s the reason I am going with.
If Romney had had the intestinal fortitude (my High School English teacher brok us in the 60’s from saying ****), he would have beaten Obozo. He didn’t, so that qualifies him to shut his yap.

5. Romney is talking to the Bush, McCain, and Romney wing of the Republican Party, in other words the Anti-Trumper wing of the Republicans.
