The election was a month ago, and Democrats are still trying to understand why so much money got them so few votes in Texas. This is from the Dallas Morning News:
More than $110 million in campaign cash was spent in Texas' 12 most contested U.S. House races this election cycle, underscoring the reality that donors — if not necessarily voters — considered the state to be a bona fide battleground.
That staggering sum, revealed late last week in new campaign finance reports, came on top of the nearly $63 million spent in this year's U.S. Senate race, the state's other hot federal battle.
All of that money didn't end up mattering much. Not a single congressional seat flipped, even after Democrats targeted 10 pick-up opportunities in the House, along with Sen. John Cornyn's seat in the Senate, and GOP sought to win back two seats in the House.
But the tallies still represented a significant shift, signaling that there's enough Democratic enthusiasm in the longstanding GOP state to ensure pricey elections for years to come.
Consider that in Texas' 12 most active House races, fundraising and spending increased fourfold from 2016. Fourteen candidates brought in more than $3 million this cycle, compared to one four years ago. Democrats in those districts together raised about $53 million, while Republicans posted $58 million.
The cash was evident in all of those political ads. The Democrat template was to link the GOP candidate to President Trump. All the ads had the same talking point, from COVID to health care to corruption. I had the chance to see ads for several congressional candidates, and you saw one ad, and it was the same as the other one.
The GOP effectively countered those ads, connecting the Democrat candidate to lawlessness or "defund the police."

Ping.
Because TX only counts actual votes. Here endeth the lesson.
Its because Texas has secure elections, has clear rules on voting, mail-in ballots, etc… that are enforced.
They tried a hundred mil on Linda. That’s $200 million in the Trump economy. Linda’s a heavyweight. Anyone lesser could have lost. It is what it is. Hopefully the money source is transparent enough-probably not.
Maybe, Texas has better election laws and procedures to prevent DIM cheating...?
The Dems. lost 13 seats in Congress. Usually, when a party loses this many seats, the President would be re-elected.
The election had to be fixed.
This is why Texas doesn’t use Dominion !
With honest Elections demcommiescum can’t win any election.
Commie-Rats stole Virginia by cheating. They have nearly conquered Georgia through cheating and given the Vichy GOPe leadership in Georgia, I expect in the next cycle Georgia will be taken over through illegal means. Next is Texas.
They are in the warm up phases just like Georgia has been. I believe massive fraud is getting established and growing in Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Austin, and the Rio valley. If Texas does not do a full forensic audit and get the bottom of the corruption, fully prosecute the law breakers, and modify the election process to strengthen it, we will fall also.
Have contact every person in Texas government I can to state my opinion. Dead air so far.
They should try cheating next time. There is now oodles of precedent
To prog/commies unfair elections = “democracy”.
In stead of spending it on consultants and adds, they could have spent 1% of that bribing poll workers, and they would have gotten a better result.
“They should try cheating next time. There is now oodles of precedent”
Biden/Ho/Xi tear down the wall, millions of voting illegals. CA refugees pouring in, voting Dem.
They won’t need to cheat, but they will.
I think I have read that they did not use Dominion voting computers.
(h/t chajin) Because TX only counts actual votes....... Here endeth the lesson.

Many thanks for the lesson in real politics....Dem-style. It's a real eye-opener........cackle.
>I think I have read that they did not use Dominion voting computers.
They were given the opportunity to test it and rejected it outright because of security and tabulation flaws.
All for naught.
But.....some of these races were too close, for comfort.
We have to do a better job of pushing back on these libs.
somebody forgot to plug in the dominion network cables...
Musta been those reverse coattails from Trump.
