I suggested on another post that this is why the SCOTUS declined to hear the Pennsylvania case.

If the SCOTUS rules in favor of Texas and all the States that have joined with Texas, it will make all the other cases moot because a ruling for Texas, et al, ends all the litigation for the Presidency, and Trump will win.

This a much simpler and cleaner way to all the election disputes.

They really shouldn't be. Every single case of fraud needs to go through the court system, and those committing fraud need to be imprisoned or executed. Plus, the only races made moot by this ruling would be in those four States. Every other State could still have their results overturned, and that includes plenty of downticket races with potential to be corrected.

SCOTUS only denied emergency injunction, not the merits. The opposition’s brief said that it would violate separation of powers for SCOTUS to intervene and I think they bought that argument. However, nothing prevents them from declaring that the election violated the constitution and should be placed in hands of the PA legislature.
