Nevada hospital treats COVID-19 patients in parking garage as pandemic rages

A Nevada hospital has resorted to treating coronavirus patients in its parking garage — as hospitalizations soar in the state.

Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno converted two floors of its parking garage into an alternative care site in early November to handle an overflow of COVID-19 patients if necessary.

This was also done here in Los Angeles at Cedar’s Sinai early on which was a clearing house for Covid cases in CA.

Even though my doctors are at Cedars and I am scheduled for surgery soon, I am doing only visits by Zoom. and some meetings via telephone.

i would imagine the vast majority are simply scared- and survive it just fine- as i believe the death % is down now- it was around 99.4% or so- and it’s recently fallen off even more-

The politicians, unelected bureaucrats and, especially, "The Experts" lie so damn much -- they lie about everything -- and have been so unbelievably wrong about most everything they've said, thought, commanded or wished for over the past nine months that it's better just to ignore them ... completely. They are clearly driven by power and/or celebrity more than anything else. I truly believe they care as much about public health and "safety" (how I've come to hate that word!) as teachers unions care about kids.

Two things regarding the article. First the hospital is probably using the area as a screening area and putting them in beds for observation. Second, they are probably charging the Feds the full $13,000 per day per patient. The more beds filled for checky-checky, the more profitable the pandemic.
