TALLAHASSEE — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Monday raided the home of a former Department of Health data analyst who has been running an alternative website to the state’s coronavirus dashboard, alleging that she may have broken into a state email system and sent an unauthorized message to employees.
But Rebekah Jones, who was was fired from her job in May as the geographic information system manager for health department’s Division of Disease Control and Health Protection and who has since filed a whistleblower complaint against the state, denied having any role in the alleged intrusion into the state web site and instead said she believes Monday’s action was intended to silence her.

It is clear, the police worked hard to avoid breaking down her door.
They gave her 20 minutes to answer the door.
NFN, but given the local criteria for determining such matters, an intrepid freeper who clicks through and is skilled at posting images could easily prove that this individual is apparently innocent of the offence charged.
Not sure if it’s just the outward appearance of what happened here, but it was a little bit difficult trying to find a full-on “non-lib” source for this story.

Maybe she should turn off the twitter and get a lawyer. It sounds like they caught her accessing the system (maybe a trap was set?)

If it was Democratic style, they would have assaulted her house with 20 SWAT Team members, fully armed, and frog men, at 3:00 a.m., where they would have shackled her and frog marched her out the door.

She tweeted out how she thinks she needs a good lawyer. The first thing a good lawyer will tell her is to get the hell off social media and keep her bleeping big mouth shut.
She’s nuts. She was fired from a university job after seducing a student, stalking him on the internet and posting revenge porn. I don’t even know how she got hired by the State of Florida anyway, but she’s clearly mastered the skills of hacking and manipulating data.
She also hates DeSantis and has been trying the usual Dem set of dirty tricks to undermine him.
The lawyer post was a attempt to ignite a go fund me bonanza IMO. She already has an attorney.
Meanwhile, reading her twitter rants is like what is highlighted in the thread dealing with hysterical white women. This one is definitely in the Orange Man bad camp for sure.
When a request comes into a web server, the IP address from which the request came is recorded on the server. An IP address can usually be traced to its source. This was probably the basis for the warrant.
Also, when she claimed a gun was being pointed at her children, she was standing near her front door, unable to see up the stairs (the video showed nobody was there, but it didn’t show the top of the stairs).
