IT’S NOT HIS MONEY TO GIVE !

I say this as someone who shelled out a quarter million in cash between my two kids nearly two decades ago.

I finished paying mine off 6 1/2 years ago. Since mine was less than $50k, can I get my money back?

Many of the diplomas aren’t worth a plug nickel.

“””We’re about to explore to outer limits of executive power.”””

Before that happens we will have seen there are no limits to political crimes.

Isn’t “no interference with contracts” in the Constitution?

And if the give back is on government, rather than privately sourced loans, isn’t it an expenditure that has to be budgeted and authorized by Congress?

In other words, how can Biden do this?

“The Constitution says...”

What a quaint, old-fashioned phrase. /s

I personally hate all the debt that universities are forcing on students. But once the loan is made, it has to be honored or people will lose their jobs.

Gee, if you can unilaterally forgive $50k of debt by issuing an order, why not $250k?
Why not just give everyone $250, and let them pay off debt, spend or invest?

Idiots.

“””Schumer knows Biden might not be seated as POTUS and is trying to start a Civil War.

There is absolutely no reason for him to make that statement now.”””

I am with you. The Big Chiefs at SCOTUS have not spoken.

Clearly designed as a bribe to gather support for Democrats, announced now to help gather soldiers in their ongoing election fight with Trump.

Any honest remedy to this problem would include the universities be responsible for any potential “refund.”

Well, Schmucky is right about not needing Congress. Most dictatorships don’t need a Congress. Then again, thinking of Creepy Joe as a dictator is comical.

I’m not a lawyer, but my BS meter says that the President does NOT have the authority to do that via an executive order.

Silly you, laws are for the little people.

I’m not a lawyer either but I think an EO can not be used to change a legislative bill.

“””Clearly designed as a bribe to gather support for Democrats”””

And/or clearly designed today as a bribe to encourage rioting, looting, and pillaging if the Democrats do not get their way.

The antifa riots from May thru September were just training sessions for what they intend if SCOTUS rules against the Democrats. Personally, I am not afraid of antifa as they will soon find out we do have an Insurrection Act.
