The scum Garcetti probably explicitly told them to deliver “Mahogany Shampoos” to the protesters if they even put foot on his street, because they were coming after him, but told them they better not even touch any rioters who were Burning, Looting, and Murdering private citizens of businesses.

Comrades! Do not be deceived! “Protests” against our democratically elected leaders, Covid lockdown orders, or debunked election irregularities will not be tolerated! Anyone who participates will be met by the righteous fists (and batons) of the peoples’ police forces.
But to be clear, comrades, demonstrations against capitalist businesses, Biden election deniers, and Trumpists are fully protected by the 1st Amendment and will of course receive police protection.
Maybe the police were using the batons used in the California Rose Parade by the majorettes in front of marching bands. Non-violent./s

He isn’t on their side but the cops have sworn to serve and protect unlike members of Congre$$ swear to uphold and defend the Constitution but most never do.
