When you watch It's a Wonderful Life there's one scene that is a oddly intense but it's not enough for most people to notice. It's the scene were George Bailey goes to Mary's house at his mothers insistence. The film was shot out of order and that was the first filmed. Stewart was suffering from PTSD and didn't know if he'd remember how to act and it shows up in that scene. It's reported that after the scene he went into a bathroom and vomited.
