Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti (D) on Friday described the Chinese coronavirus as the “greatest threat to life in Los Angeles that we have ever faced” — a description that follows his urge for residents to “cancel everything.”
“So often in this crisis, it can be so confusing. Orders come down from the state, from our county. We’re not sure what they mean when they come into effect,” Garcetti said as he attempted to clarify the layers of restrictions.

The politicians, in general, know the reality, that this isn’t a big deal. But they love the power and control, so the propagate the hysteria as best they can.
I have news for the mayor. This virus will be around to some degree or another for at least the next 10,000 years. Maybe 100,000. So I guess we should all just lie down and wait to die, right?
This madness has to stop soon or we will end up destroying ourselves.
This is for a virus that is 99.9% survivable.

Never would have said such a thing 6 months ago. But after seeing the thousands and thousands of Californians at the various Trump rallies, and the way many are pushing back against the draconian crap going on currently, I’d put the clock-cleaning odds at better than 50%.
It seems that the corona virus is all but asymptomatic in most of the people that test positive and if you are are healthy and under the age of 60 the risks of serious illness is minimal.
