Matthew McConaughey may have ruled out running for Texas governor in the near future, but that doesn’t mean he’s stepping away from politics completely. In a recent episode of Under the Skin, the podcast fronted by British comedian and activist Russell Brand, McConaughey spoke out about political divisiveness and the need to “meet in the middle.” Like Brand, he also criticized Hollywood figures and those on the “far left” who he says antagonize and belittle those with other beliefs.
‘Oh, they’re dumb, they’re voting for Brexit, they’re voting for Trump,’” Brand said of the “condemnation and criticism of ordinary working people” he sees among his celebrity peers. “I don’t like it, and I don’t like to hear it.”
“There’s a lot on that illiberal left that absolutely condescend, patronize and are arrogant towards the other 50 percent,” the Oscar winner agreed.

The “illiberal left”: President Reagan said “....it isn’t so much that liberals are ignorant. It’s just that they know so many things that aren’t so.” Today the liberals have become rabid foaming at the mouth insane zombies. And those are the nice ones.

Russell Brand is a HARDCORE liberal.
And I was glad Matthew said this but then he went on to say that the right needs to accept that Trump lost in 2020, just like the dems should have accepted that he won in 2016.
But Trump didn’t lose in 2020.
BTW, I love Matt but he should have stopped at the first part.
This is like calling out Hitler because he 'had bad breath,' or 'was smug.'
But I suppose better than nothing!

Wait, McCoaughey calls out the Left for its condescending, etc., etc., etc. BUT fails utterly to acknowledge that BidenIdiot lost in a landslide to Trump..in other words, blatantly ignores the massive cheating and voting fraud perpetuated by the Left against Trump and this country? Go figure.

funny, because McConaughey was recently on the news right around the election, perhaps for a tweet or something, and I remember saying to myself “he’s on the trump train, but can’t say it”
And those are their good points.
