Why bother? Indian and Communist Chinese students get most of the internships thorough OPT, not available to Americans. In fact, 74% of American STEM graduates cannot find a position in their field after graduation. Only foreign trash can.
Well I guess I’m still living in the late 60s and the 70s. I attended the formerly named Missouri School of Mines and after a drafted stint in the ARMY, the Colorado School of Mines. So it was all STEM, all the time with plenty of labs, labs, and labs in chem, physics, mineralogy, petrology, optical mineralogy, X-ray diffraction, X-ray fluorescence, geochemistry, and ore microscopy.
