The Bias of Books about Presidents

What will future mainstream published books on "president-elect" Biden say about the "dashing, coherent, charismatic statesman"? With the release of Obama's third book, a 700-page self-glorification tome, we each need to be reminded of what gets published and promoted in the mainstream press, and what never sees the light of day.

From the day Donald Trump was inaugurated and, realistically, even months before that, the mainstream press, major book publishers, and most print media had ill-will for Donald Trump. Seemingly 24/7, Trump’s every move was detected, inspected, analyzed, and categorized as something malevolent. A spate of published books during his first term sought to publicize his personality faults, bad decisions, poor leadership, and anything else under the sun.

Obama, Master Manipulator

Noticeably missing from the national conversation, and from those who dwell on books proclaiming the incapacities of Donald Trump, is discussion about the books published during and after Barack Obama's presidency concerning Obama's shortcomings. Among other things, Obama was the most treasonous president in our history, and ample proof is available.

Obama has been protesting loud and long of late about the failures of the Trump administration, the glory of a "forthcoming" Biden administration, and how we ought to all "get on with it." Actually, in the face of notable evidence of Democrat election fraud, Obama is praying that Biden makes it to the White House so that the litany of Obama's crimes will be buried, at the least, for four years.

With a second Trump term, and Trump no longer concerned about re-election, he could go after Obama with full force.

For Your Reading Pleasure

You likely haven’t been exposed to most of the books cited below. These books, in no particular order, are written by authors who researched the blunders, incapacities, deceit, incompetence, criminality, and, yes, treasonous behavior of Barack Obama.

No Balance, Ever

Keep in mind that all of these books were published in an environment where the liberal press will publish anything and everything they can to diminish Trump, and block, thwart, and contort as much as they can anything that exposes the miserable failure named Barack Obama.

Any books from the liberal press on "president-elect" Joe Biden will follow much the same pattern.

Libraries in my area are stocked with multiplebduplicates of shiny lib memiors/biographies gathering dust. Meanwhile the books I really want have a months-long waitlist, if they are available at all.

Right now I'm reading a biography of Lyndon Baines Johnson. Mainly because I think a Biden administration will be the second coming of Johnson, with all the dishonesty, dirty back-room dealing, and bullying that you would expect. Just want to be ready for what's in store for the next four years, if he even serves a full term. The biographer, Robert Caro, obviously admires Johnson greatly while repeatedly disparaging Republican opponents to the New Deal as "reactionary".

Despite his obvious admiration for LBJ, Caro does not hide the man's faults. He chronicles Johnson's shiftlessness after high school, his physical cowardice, his vulgar table manners, practicing law without a license (or even a college degree), making his subordinates carry on discussions while he was on the toilet moving his bowels, telling them that it was their job to "kiss my ass and tell me how sweet it is," his extramarital affairs, and all of it. He even stole a few elections, beginning in college.

I have not been inclined to read any of the biographies on Barack Obama, and I don't know if there have been any published on Joe Biden. Don't know if I'll ever read them. But I seriously doubt any biography written on either of them will ever be as honest about their faults as Caro's on LBJ.

LBJ stole an election (Box 13) and later got the the White House via another stolen election (1960) and a political assassination.

The first 2 are not in dispute and the 3rd happened under questionable circumstances.

And yet people still LIKE LBJ. All of their agner at him over escalating Vietnam disapated over time and they do not GAF about his stolen elections or cronyism.

What really chaps my behind about LBJ is that he cynically pushed for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 only to steal the moral high ground on race from the Republicans, and combined that with expanding the welfare state such that the black family has been destroyed and many blacks are dependent on the government for their well-being. And it is all compounded by calling conservatives bigots to keep it that way.

That’s what has made blacks such loyal voters to the Democrats these last fifty-odd years. Everything they do is about gaining and holding power, at the expense of those they claim to be helping. And they will do anything. There is no lie they won’t tell, no bribe they won’t offer, no life they won’t destroy. From that perspective, LBJ was a giant to them.
