GBI assisting Secretary of State in handling election investigations
Fox 5 Atlanta ^

Agents with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation will help the secretary of state investigate the hundreds of open cases related to the 2020 election.

The Secretary of State's Office said on Friday that it asked Gov. Brian Kemp to allow the law enforcement organization to provide assistance to quickly examine the heavy caseload of possible voter fraud.

Earlier in the week, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said that his office had around 250 open investigations related to the election. These elections included possible double voting, absentee ballot fraud, and other allegations.

The secretary of state's office only has 23 investigators, so Raffensperger said the additional manpower and resources will help make the investigations be more efficient.

Please pardon my all caps comment, but....

WHAT KIND OF BS IS THIS!!!

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations (GBI) should be LEADING this investigation, not taking orders from the corrupt Secretary of State Rattensburger's office!

The SoS should be under investigation as much as anyone!

Why should we believe the GBI isn’t corrupt? The FBI is. So is the DOJ, CIA, etc.

Alternate report shows that Kemp is actually the one responsible for the decision to keep the GBI from looking into the Secretary of State’s actions.

Raffensperger requested the additional assistance on Friday, and Kemp agreed quickly the same day.

“Earlier this week, Secretary Raffensperger announced that his office had approximately 250 open investigations related to the 2020 General Election,” Kemp said. “In order for Georgians to receive a timely conclusion to these important investigations, I thank the secretary for formally requesting Georgia Bureau of Investigation assistance in order to provide additional manpower and resources.

“Highly qualified GBI personnel will work alongside law enforcement officers within the Secretary of State’s Office to ensure that Georgia’s election laws are followed and the investigations are completed as soon as appropriate.”

It just occurred to me this morning that the state of Georgia has an “attorney general” of their own who inexplicably is neither here nor there.

Well isn’t that special. Georgia has it’s own mini version of the FBI to help sweep politician’s criminal activity under the rug

Oh the GBI. I feel so much better. Where are the US Marshalls? Grab a few of these machines and do some effing forensic audits and be done with it.

Might be too late, since Governor Kemp is now calling for the Dominion machines to be wiped too!

https://www.bloombergquint.com/onweb/georgia-says-sidney-powell-s-lawsuit-could-hinder-senate-runoff

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp told a federal judge that a temporary restraining order granted in a suit by former Trump campaign attorney Sidney Powell threatens to disrupt the state’s Jan. 5 runoff election that will determine control of the U.S. Senate. The order seeks to preserve data from the Nov. 3 election in three counties while Powell pushes for a forensic audit of Georgia’s Dominion Voting.

U.S. District Judge Timothy Batten issued the order on Nov. 29, barring Georgia “from altering, destroying, or erasing, or allowing the alteration, destruction, or erasure of any software or data on any Dominion voting machine” in Cobb, Gwinnett and Cherokee counties. The judge stayed the proceeding after Powell filed an appeal, arguing the TRO didn’t go far enough.

On Friday evening, a three-judge panel of the Eleventh Circuit in Atlanta rejected Powell’s appeal, ruling it’s not possible to challenge such a preliminary ruling unless there’s a true risk of irreparable harm.

I read somewhere (can’t find now) that Ratt caught wind of the legislators moving to obtain their own GBI assist so this move is to pre-empt them from their own investigation
This SOS needs investigating, every move he makes screams dirty, guilty

At least they’re involved, which will come as news to those FReepers who keep screaming at US AG Barr to somehow act as the lead investigator in Georgia.

The TRO is still in effect though as far as I can tell. Kemp and Raffy cannot wipe the machines in Gwinnett, Cobb or Cherokee til the in person hearing on I believe Dec 9th.

These are all Republicans!

It proves we need some new monikers other than RINO, as what we’re seeing now is more fundamental, and goes more to the integrity of the nation, not any party.

“Traitors” is correct, but that sets weak people’s mind off in a tizzy. “Anti-American Politician” is also correct, but not catchy enough. We’ll find something soon, I predict.

When I saw this last night I was furious...

Yesterday, GA Legislators called GBI to get them involved - and last night the SOS did this. He is trying to control the investigation! I emailed all of them last night and told them HE needs to be investigated too... don’t let him control this!

It’s turned out that Georgia is a mafia state like NY.

Only difference is there are supposed REPUBLICANS in charge.

We must assume this is underway elsewhere as well.

Putting the corrupt Georgians in jail would go a long way in stopping it, or at least slowing it down.
