Is it true Loeffler made a killing in the stock market at the beginning of covid? If so, you have to hand it to her for financial smarts. Hope she applies some of that intelligence and shrewdness to the vote-fraud issue

Inside information (briefings), but the funds were in a blind trust.

If we had a transparent process most hacks would never be elected it’s how the media was born.

They want to go back to the way things are suppose to be. Democrats in charge with republicans sitting in the back doing nothing but getting a few pork projects thrown to them to keep them silent.

If I was an Oligarch and I needed to control government offices, I would buy both a D and an R, and run them against each other. I mean why risk some party label preference among the electorate?

And that is exactly the way I watched it play out at the state level.

Then I retired and immediately left that state forever.

“Ironic that it was progressives who complained for years about the use of electronic voting machines without clear paper trails. I always thought that made sense, and I was frustrated that the GOP didn’t share the concerns”

Like Constitutional Conservatives, Progressive Dems were, until recently, outside their party’s ruling establishment leadership. The cynical part of me has to wonder if perhaps both the GOP and Dem establishments have been using our fraud-prone voting system to ensure that their “key players” stayed in office ...particularly in the Senate!!! The GOP’s behavior in this election really makes me extremely suspicious.

Sick, I know! “Both sides” infers equally, but not even close. The RATs are way ahead in the game of corruption. However, there are Pubes who are in the game, too.

Are you familiar with the “boiling frog” thought experiment? Theory goes, a frog dropped into a pan of boiling water will immediately know it’s in a hostile environment, but if the pan is slowly brought up to a simmer it won’t notice it’s being boiled.

Imagine a lifelong evangelical conservative with a natural distrust of any form of federal over-reach, in favor of states having total license to determine how to run their elections their way, and you’re instinctively opposed to concepts like citizens being compelled to prove their identity to the Federal government’s satisfaction for every little thing.

Now, consider, because this is your position, you accept as reality, the following could be said in almost ANY healthy system of government:

1. Winston Churchill summed it up when he said, ‘democracy is the worst form of Government except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.…’ - an accepted downside of emancipation is that it gives a significant proportion of dimbulbs the right to vote.

2. There is an industry that exists to serve no purpose other than to win a turf war for the White House, and it gets one shot every four years to win. Anyone who can game it, and turn a loser into a winner by legal trickery, will end up richer than a Kardashian.

3. Because of (2) it’s now considered weird if a losing candidate concedes *without* exhausting every last conceivable shenanigan to flip the result. Just look at the 1960 election.

4. Who do we trust more - the state, or the federal government and its peripheral machinery? And do we not love the idea of an executive conservative presidency? We have a bit of a problem: two things are needed to give us what we want. Majorities of citizens voting the way we want, and a lot of machinery that we hate with a passion to support our choice of leader.

5. This isn’t a problem for the RATS. If “their” guy loses... well, they don’t hate the machinery that’s needed to flip it. Consequently, it doesn’t hate them back.

So, now consider Trump. He’s basically an independent president. He’s been republican, democrat, independent, and was once hitched to a party dedicated to the independence of New York. He hitched himself to the Republican brand for the most cynical of reasons. If the TEA Party had had enough political power, cash and had been desperate enough to ask Trump to lead it, he would’ve gone there instead. He absolutely ticks all the right boxes.

Except... Trump signed up on a Republican party ticket. The GOP didn’t sign up to join the Trump Party.

The GOP didn’t mind a bit of heat as long as Trump was blowing the Democrats out of the water.

The GOP expected one of two things to happen: Trump to win by a tiny margin and be reliant on the Party to keep him in power, or lose decisively (and without any scandal or whiff of vote-rigging). They were prepared to wait and see. That turned up the heat a bit in 2016. In 2020 it turned up even more heat.

The GOP may have figured that after POTUS lost a couple of cases he would flounce off into retirement, or go on an extended golf holiday. So they were prepared to take even more heat.

A few broke ranks and suggested to POTUS, time to give a gracious concession speech. Trump didn’t fall in line. More heat.

We’re only now at the point where Trump is so far down the line of doing precisely what no self-respecting elected GOP official would dream of doing, that the RINO frogs are desperate to get out of the pan.

Many of them genuinely think, Trump has made war on almost every federal or state institution that you can think of, and the only ones he hasn’t made war on are all waiting for someone in their ranks to offend the Dear Leader before he’ll turn on them too.

Doesn’t really matter how much electoral fraud is proved to these people First and foremost, the thought in their heads is that if Trump wins the day, there won’t be a single federal instrument that he won’t tear down and rebuild to his liking.

FEMA, CIA, FBI, DHS, DOD, and many others, being scrapped, and replaced with totally new organizations.

All headed by die-hard Trumpian converts with zero qualifications. Although, possibly, the new cybersecurity agency will be headed up by one of Rudi’s star witnesses, the one who was on parole for cyber crime charges.

THAT is what they all fear. And they will stay in that bubbling pot as long as it takes to make sure that Trump doesn’t win. They’d rather see the GOP torn to bits, than watch Trump take his revenge wrecking ball out on a spree.

We seem to have devolved into a country run by multiple entities, the WEF, the Deep State, the UN, the Pentagon/warmongers, FoggyBottom, Social media outlets, news&entertainment outlets, the Silly Con Valley Queens and Kings.

You name it.

Do you remember casting a vote for or against any one of the above??
