Politics and entertainment don’t mix, and for some reason the Hollywood crowd haven’t been able to figure that out for themselves. So....we go elsewhere and they can starve.

I just watched some Thatcher speeches, and Gillian has her voice and speech patterns down pat.

The Crown itself is worth purchasing a new high-res TV. It’s that good.

Lady Thatcher saved modern Britain. And they hate her for it.

My wife loves the show. I happened to walk in during the Fagan episode with the Queen and Thatcher. Sighed and walked out. Typical leftist slant against Thatcher. Yep, that meeting with the intruded and the Queen was nothing like portrayed in that episode, even the real Fagan said so.
It was all just used as a vehicle to bash Thatcher. I really enjoyed the series up to that point, but after that, I'm out!

The episode that I found the most enjoyable was the one where a common (somewhat crazy) man breaks into the Buckingham Palace, not once, but twice and the second time sat on the queens bed and had a scary, but normal conversation with her. In real life the guy was high on shrooms, and that conversation was nothing like what really happened. The writers just invented a conservation as an indictment of Thatcher.
