Marshals don’t go after someone that killed a cop.
That was my first assumption too. And if the perp killed three marshals, he’s not your average gang banger. To do so he had to have had good combat skills.

I wonder if Jamaica figures into this in some way...
If they flee across state lines, they do.

Actor may have been from the Jamaica Plain hood of Boston?
Who cares what police unit shot him. The actor has met his demise and the world is a tiny bit better going forward!
Why didn’t they shoot him in the calf or arm. Even better, why didn’t they shoot the gun out of his hand? (/sarc)
The suspect was born in Jamaica,West Indies, not Queens. I didn’t see anything his immigration status.
Why didn’t they call a social worker?
“Why didn’t they call a social worker?”
In the original “War of the Worlds” movie, they had a scene where a priest decided that the aliens were also children of God and that he would go out and talk to them. These social workers are going to end up about the same way he did.
I read the news today, oh boy, that John Lennon was shot.
