This NDAA also includes the provision to demolish all Confederate War memorials on all National Battlefields, digging up graves of Confederate soldiers and probably taking them to landfills. Also includes getting rid of any Confederate marker on any Federal property in the country. Something right out of the Bolsheviks playbook. Also included in the bill is a provision to within three years rename all Federal military bases named for a
Confederate officer. Trump has said for months he would veto the bill if this demolition of American history remained in the bill. He had the backing of Chairman Inhofe a couple months ago but now he figures Trump is losing the election so he signed off on it. The bill is sponsored by the Elizabeth
Warren. Every Republican has sided with Warren, to Include Tom Cotton,
David Purdue, Tom Tillis, Marsha Blackburn, Rick Scott and Josh Hawley,
Jim Inhofe. All from Southern States. Tom Cotton had a 3rd g grandfather who served with the Arkansas Infantry. A few months ago when asked if base names should be changed, Cotton said “of course these men were traitors to their country, they committed treason.” In other words he called his own grandfather a traitor.

As long as we have nukes at the ready? Then sure. But still, we could draw down Afghanistan if Trump really wanted to.

This bill is largely about destroying any traces of the Confederacy. I disagree. Even if the Confederates were traitors, it’s good to let everyone know that they existed and they lost the fight that they were part of. No point in denying that when you want to discourage insurrection.
