President Donald Trump on Wednesday gained unexpected support from a former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate after he criticized Section 230’s protections for Big Tech companies.
Trump on Tuesday threatened to veto the National Defense Authorization Act, a bill to authorize defense spending, demanding that Congress first reform Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. The law protects web publishers from being sued for content posted on their platforms by third parties.
“Section 230, which is a liability shielding gift from the U.S. to ‘Big Tech’ (the only companies in America that have it — corporate welfare!), is a serious threat to our National Security & Election Integrity. Our Country can never be safe & secure if we allow it to stand,” Trump tweeted ...

Look at her Parler feed —— not only 230, but cheered SCOTUS for opening up places of worship
She is an honest liberal, if you know what I mean.
There aren’t many..
If she was Biden’s VP I’d be way less worried.
Biden’s VP loathes Tulsi if you remember the debate.
Yes, there’s no reason to favor big monopoly social media companies over smaller social media companies. If you don’t understand that, search and read more about the law in question.
You know the GOP sucks when a Leftist is more of a conservative.
I like her personally, can’t say that about many Dems.
There’s a reason Tulsi Gabbard was not allowed to share the debate stage with Joe Biden...
“There’s a reason Tulsi Gabbard was not allowed to share the debate stage with Joe Biden...”
She would have had him skinned, deboned and ready for the dog food cans.
Dementia Joe never would have known what hit him.
Well if Tulsi Gabbard thinks it is the right thing to do then Trump must be right. /sarc
You must admit that during the Democrat debates she was the adult in the room.
There's absolutely nothing in Section 230 of the CDA that differentiates between companies based on size or anything else.
The provision applies to "interactive computer services", period.
Perhaps she’s lobbying for a job in President Trump’s second term administration.
If it wasn’t for her socialized medicine and gun-grabbing schemes, I could really learn to like her.
Trump will pull this out. Down ballot candidates who lost may have new elections. If the balance is close, Tulsi will swap parties. She will do it for a price but, she will flip.
I’ve always contended that if the dems had run her, she would have won.
I think she was the ONLY democrat that stood a snowball’s chance of legitimately defeating him.
I don’t think Tulsi or anyone for that matter, could legitimately defeat Donald Trump. However, in an honest election, she would have done far better than any other Democrat. I think she would have impressed everyone, however, including President Trump.
1. She is pro-abortion
2. She is anti-gun
But, she appears to be more reasonable then your average liberal today. I really thought she would have been the better VP pick. Possible they would not of had to cheat as much if she was the VP pick.
