A newly discovered batch of 55 uncounted ballots in a rural upstate New York county has the potential to alter the outcome of a yet-to-be-called congressional race.
The ballots from Chenango County were cast during the state’s early voting period within the 22nd Congressional District - home to the ultra-tight race between Democratic Rep. Anthony Brindisi and his Republican opponent Claudia Tenney.
As of Monday - which was supposed to have been the final day for election officials to report vote totals in the district - Tenney led the freshman Democrat by a razor-thin 12-vote margin.
Chenango County Attorney Alan Gordon informed Supreme Court Justice Scott DelConte of the findings on Tuesday.
“Those ballots were apparently mislaid and never counted,” Gordon wrote.
“I have advised our Board of Elections to not open any of those ballots and to secure them in their offices,” he said.
Of the 55 ballots, 11 appear to be from unregistered voters.
The remaining 44 could reverse Tenney’s lead, but DelConte must still rule on over 2,000 other disputed absentee and affidavit ballots in the race.

Just keep chugging until the Democrat wins.
Youtube: 7m52s: 2 Dec: Sky News Australia: Nigel Farage: No doubt there was ‘industrial scale’ ballot harvesting in US Election - Alan Jones Show
“Ballot harvesting without a doubt went on in a very, very big way but the problem with that is, it is not illegal,” Mr Farage told Sky News...
He also pointed to the congressional and gubernatorial election results which saw down-ticket Republicans seemingly perform better than President Donald Trump.
“I saw on the road an enthusiasm for trump unlike anything I’ve ever seen all my life campaigning,” he said.
“To me, the most suspicious thing is the ballot dumps hours after the election’s closed.
“Was there fraud in this election? Yes. Is it possible to prove it in a court of law beyond doubt? I’m not sure.
“I think to me this is about ballot harvesting on an industrial scale taking place in big democratic cities and local administrations working hand in glove with trade unions to deliver this.
“I have no doubt this happened on a huge scale, but the problem is there is no law In America.”

There needs to be a cutoff date when no more ballots are accepted. In this day and age, it shouldn’t be more than a day or two.
For years we chuckled about this and rolled our eyes at “found” ballots. Now they don’t even care.....
“Of the 55 ballots, 11 appear to be from unregistered voters.”
Which means the 44 ballots were from registered, alive or dead, who had their votes harvested by a Biden supporter.
Ballots just magically appear out of thin air after
almost a month that turn the vote to the losing Democrat!
Yes, there are laws in America governing voter fraud and ballot harvesting is illegal except in CA.
But the “we found more ballots” cutesy little trick is just a solid “in your face” way of saying that your right to vote is meaningless.
Ballot Harvesting definitely in New York.
No way this system can get fixed until patriots learn how to fight dirty like all dem’s and rino Republicans do.

I’ll play Karnak the Magnificent and make a wild guess they’re all for the Dem.
I believe there is Federally and that is Nov 3rd.
However, not to seem racist and disenfranchise black voters, some States stay open 24/7/365 counting and lying
Why in the h*ll do they keep “finding” ballots? This is disgraceful. Evil.
I have never seen anything like this in my life. I knew there’d be problems and litigation, but I did not expect such open, obvious fraud.
Democrats should be aware that the millions of American Trump voters are onto them and that we are very, very ticked off.
Election day should be election day. Any ballots coming in after midnight on election day should not be counted.
Tough titty said the kitty. If you're state sux at getting your ballots counted, then perhaps you should vote for officials that will be more responsible.
This BS of ballots pouring in days/weeks after election day needs to freaking stop.
Chenango County Attorney Alan Gordon and the Chenango County Board of Election Commissioners need to have a long chat with Mr. Waterboard about the “apparently mislaid” ballots.
Also Chenango County Attorney Alan Gordon and each member of the Chenango County Board of Election Commissioners need to have a complete body cavity search (preferably with a fully charged cattle prod) to make sure there are no more “mislaid” ballots.
“Ballots just magically appear”
#ComDem’s have been doing that in Donna Anna County in Las Cruces, NM for 50 years.
Which means the 44 ballots were from registered, alive or dead, who had their votes harvested by a Biden supporter.
They should be seized by federal law enforcement and dusted for fingerprints. That won’t be happening of course.
“...There needs to be a cutoff date when no more ballots are accepted. In this day and age, it shouldn’t be more than a day or two.....”
In this modern digital age and era, there is absolutely NO EXCUSE for it...other than fraud.
We’ve had Election Day in this country since time began. Everybody knows when it is and where to vote IF they choose to do so. Those that chose to do so, should already be registered in advance, show their ID and vote in person. Absentees should be limited and under strict rules for identification. Those should be counted first. When the polls close, that should be it. Tally em up.
Third world countries have better election security than the crap we have here.
If unregistered votes count, there’s no point in registering. It you can get a ballot (or untold) thousands, vote away!
