There was a thread yesterday suggesting the declaration of martial law. I say do it, and finally clean house once and for all. Think of it as IV drip antibiotics for a massive infection that threatens the life of the nation as we know it.
I have been wondering how to get out of the box that we are in.
My wife suggested that the Supreme Court could take a case of voter fraud and determine that:
1. There was fraud and this election cannot be accepted
2. We cannot install a new administration under this cloud
3. The Court therefore orders a stay of the inauguration until another election is held. The next election will establish federal rules for all states to follow that will:
a. Allow vote by mail only upon request
b. Use machine tabulation that is open source and witnessed by each side of the contest
c. Allow full screening of signatures, ballots, and machine scan results by all parties — have enough people involved to attend to each table in each room being used to count ballots
d. All counting will preserve hard copy ballots, signatures, scan results, and be audited by staff reporting to the Supreme Court. Items will be preserved for two years (until the next federal election).
After this election, this process shall be incorporated into the US Constitution for future elections.
Under these terms, Trump will remain in the White House as an “interim” President while Biden will continue to receive federal security briefings. The Supreme Court will review State federal election procedures for consistency throughout the country and will be provided with Secrete Service protection. The court will determine when this special election will be held, the election will also re-determine all Congressional (House and Senate) seats. The president will be selected by the electoral college after the election and ballots are counted
To continue government, both Trump and Biden will be allowed to opine on current issues. Our media will treat both sides equally in terms of publication and streaming of these government opinions, The present congress will continue to meet and write laws, and Trump will be the only signature required to have the law take affect although Biden can protest and hold that he may cancel any law or confirmation passed in this interim period should the special election go in his favor.
This approach may end up being acceptable to both sides.
