My few travels in Israel in ‘85/86 made me fall in love with the people and the country. If I were 20 years younger I’d chuck everything except the Harley and move there.

Remember how the left hated nukes? Especially the ones we had when that "doddering old man with his finger on the button " Pres. Reagan was in office? Remember the anti nuke protests? The SANE freeze coalitions, we had a local chapter in Rockland County, NY, a bunch of well to do White Karens collaborating with other so called peace groups typically standing on street corners spewing leftist propaganda.
Also the No Nukes concerts. Done to raise awareness of the dangers of nuclear proliferation. They were the brainchild of Jackson Browne and John Hall, lead singer of Orleans and my fmr Congressman (NY11).The Talking Heads, U2, Pat Benetar, an up and coming Madonna and anyone who was someone performed at these venues. Now that the madmen in Iran have nukes of their own perhaps it's time to bring back these concerts and demonstrations to warn a new generation of the clear and present danger of a nuclear Holocaust? ((((((crickets))))))))

It must be beyond frustrating for Israel to have the U.S. as an ‘ally’ with a possible reset every 4 yrs.
And here we are, Joe Biden likely the next president. Could there be anyone more inept esp in foreign policy?
When his brain was functioning he was so poor in strategic thinking he had to be constantly reminded how each chess piece moved.
Now he surrounds himself with Israel haters. Does not bode well for Israel and the Middle East.
