A prosthetic leg is an inanimate object. Apart from the hygienic aspect of it, drinking from such a device may well be spools of war.
British soldiers have done far worse in past wars.

Military brat here. If I had ever seen a photo of my Father doing something like that, I would not have felt pride in his action, and I probably would have always carried a creepy cringe feeling towards him.
