Hamstrung by pandemic fatigue, economic constraints and political discord, public health officials have struggled to control the surging pandemic. But now, a rush of interim analyses from pharmaceutical companies Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech have spurred optimism that a novel type of vaccine made from messenger RNA, known as mRNA, can offer high levels of protection by preventing COVID-19 among people who are vaccinated.
Although unpublished, these preliminary reports have exceeded the expectations of many vaccine experts, including mine. Until early this year, I worked on developing vaccine candidates against Zika and dengue. Now I am coordinating an international effort to collect reports on adult patients with current or previous cancers who have also been diagnosed with COVID-19.

Any drug that hijacks the DNA making portion of your cells is something everyone should avoid.
Shipping vaccines at freezing temperatures is nothing new. I worked at a health care facility and we regularly received vaccine on dry ice. Granted, given the massive quantities we’re speaking of will put a strain on dry ice providers but they’ve already increased production.
I won’t comply.
I’m not taking a vaccine that got rammed through in less than a year when we have no idea what long term effects are.

If you are in the military, are a first responder, health care worker or work for any employer that requires you to be vaccinated, it will likely be a condition of employment. We had some military folks refuse the anthrax vaccine a while back, and they found themselves unemployed real quick. That said, nobody was held down and injected against their will.
If you want to travel internationally, obtain health insurance, visit a friend or family member at a senior care or other healthcare facility, you may be required to show proof of vaccination. Schools might require vaccination as a requirement for attendance or admission. Again, not forced. It's hard to say at this point what companies/schools/activities will require vaccination. You would think, after a while, the requirement would go away, but we still require vaccines for diseases that have not been common for decades.
At least until long term effects are known.
