There’s a refrain on the left that is now so familiar as to be unremarkable. The form runs, “Even Reagan wasn’t as bad as [insert current Republican president here].” It got a workout under George W. Bush, and it’s gotten heavy use under Trump. And already I’ve seen several articles in the New York Times and elsewhere saying, “Whatever the GOP offers us after Trump will be even worse.” To which I say, I can only hope so.

Awfully bold for a co-conspirator in the sedition to admit to their part. None of it would have come close to unseating Trump without the cover provided by the media. Hopefully, they will not succeed in the end. But if Trump is denied, for the first time I expect our side to explode in anger and violence. We will have been spat upon too many times. We have tried the lawful way every time only to be repeatedly cheated out of what was legally ours each time. Unless the Supreme Court steps in and does the right thing, we have no other option . . . playing by the rules will not have worked. Surely the SC will reward our citizenship and long-suffering with the justice we have earned.

In any case, kudos of sorts are owed to Eric Levitz of New York magazine for keeping alive the flame of Bush Derangement Syndrome, as he argues that in fact Bush was a much worse authoritarian than Trump. Nothing especially notable about this, except that along the way, he lets the mask slip completely about the media:

I don't. Nobody has yet. Maybe ... Maybe if Biden does something extreme like declaring permanent lockdowns or something then that will make it happen but I doubt this will.

Which is shame, because this is the end of free elections and with it our republic.

Then may they be the first to suffer the recompense they have earned. Their children and grandchildren also have to live going forward in this world where they will be preserving injustice. It will be a world of their creation in refusing to be just. . . a world that will become much, much uglier BECAUSE of their refusal to act. I don’t think I would want that weight on my shoulders. Even Jimmy Carter wasn’t as big a doofus as Biden needs to be the conservatives narrative along with the theme that the only problem MSM talking head has with bestiality kiddie porn is that it isn’t produced by the National Endowment of the Arts at taxpayer expense! These messages need to be spread far & wide also tarring & feathers need to make a comeback.
