Utter bullsh*t. You don't have "secrets" in counting votes.
What ‘trade secrets’?
The SOURCE CODE for the system should be public.
A voting machine is NOT high tech.
You could run the entire country voting off a $10k server.
The only reason for this nonsense is to HIDE what has been going on since ‘91
“Defendants’ counsel also argued that allowing such forensic inspections would pose substantial security and proprietary/trade secret risks to Defendants.”
Yeah like how they tend to flup only votes from Republican to Democrap.
There's nothing secret about simple vote counting and tabulating. The secrets being protected are nefarious.
I voted on a paper ballot, it was fed into a Dominion ballot scanner.
There should NEVER be trade secrets involved in voting systems. Everything should be clearly spelled out, and easily understood.
Elections are the biggest and most important events that all citizens are entitled to, therefore, all citizens demand transparency in how the votes are counted. There can never be any trade secrets in how the votes are counted and any software and computers and machinery, should be publicly owned, even if all are developed by private companies. Once used by the government, it’s publicly owned.
As in: “People can’t know how our machines were rigged in Biden’s favor.”
Sorry, but an accurate election count overrides “trade secrets”.
