Why? What’s so scary about that? The car is designed for it, the tires, shocks and brakes are high performance. The road is built for speed.
Best I’ve done is about 115 but it was on a two lane road and just for a short bit.
Did 100-105 across Montana a couple years ago in a rental Infinity SUV. Horrible ride. Lots of bounce.
Slowed down to 93 as dusk was settling in. That’s where I met this really nice State Trooper who showed me the lights on the roof of his car and gave me a piece of paper to tell me how fast I was driving.

Back in the 50s and 60s the father of a good friend of mine was a rocket scientist (MIT grad) who worked for a major defense contractor.As such he spent a lot of time in Nevada,where they did a lot of testing. He used to tell stories of deserted highways with no speed limits. We were enthralled!
