He was going over the bullet holes in the car and the tight grouping led him to believe they were just trying to kill the body guards. 1. Mr. Bull was a ballistician and created some the most advanced cannon weapons and projectiles. He was responsible for the HARP (High Altitude Research Project) two huge guns capable of firing an instrumented projectile into space. He designed several advanced 155mm long range towed and SP guns, and pioneered Rocket-assisted and base-bleed long range projectiles. He also pioneered superfrettaged gun tube to increase stiffness and precision at greater ranges.

2. His engineering assistance to Iraq involved two very long-range guns (pointed at Israel) and he was also helping the Iraqis fix their extende range SCUD mods because they kept coming apart during boost phase.

3. He received at least two phone calls warning him to stop helping Iraq. After the last call he was shot.

Second, the people who were told, after the fact, about the killing. (This *may* include the president and various people who report to him). Third, possibly intel agencies that intercepted elint or obtained humint re the assassination.
