Amid rumors that Georgia elections officials intended to alter or wipe voting machines used in the 2020 election, a federal judge has ordered that the machines be preserved in their current state. He then abruptly reversed that order, according to the attorney who asked for it.
The order was made public several hours after Georgia Republicans complained that elections officials had kept them at a distance for hours while election officials worked on the machines.
On Sunday, November 29, attorney Lin Wood tweeted the following:
GA officials performing “software update” on Fulton County voting machines at this very moment at World Congress Center. They are trying to erase the evidence by scrubbing the machines with litigation pending. BLOW YOUR HORNS. PATRIOTS. This cannot stand.
And
STOP THE SUNDAY ATTEMPT TO DESTROY EVIDENCE IN GA.
Shortly thereafter, an order from U.S. District Court Judge Timothy Batten, Sr. was made public:
Defendants are ordered to maintain the statue quo & are temporarily enjoined from wiping or resetting any voting machines in the State of Georgia until further order of the Court.US District Court Judge Timothy Batten, Sr.
But not long after that decision, attorney Wood tweeted that the judge reversed his decision on the machines, based on claims that Georgia counties control the machines. The judge says the defendants do not control the machines and, therefore, he cannot order them to be preserved in their current state.
Meantime, a hearing on Wood's broad ranging requests related to election fraud allegations is set for Friday.
Wood has also asked for a forensic audit and security tape videotape evidence.

Can anyone think of any legitimate reason why the software and logs for the voting machines must be deleted and the machines reset before the election period is over? All of them? Show me the law or procedure that justifies this act.
Aren’t these the same level of federal judges that try to tie POTUS hands nationwide on a regular basis? Really? No Authority? What a Scam Court System.

You’re correct in that the Legislature has the ability to create, abolish, or alter the counties. Each county is a separate political entity, however. They have the capacity to sue or be sued. An injunction binding on the State of California would not bind the counties

No, nobody “got to the judge”. The plaintiff’s attorneys didn’t include the relevant counties (who have jurisdiction/possession of the equipment) as defendants. I’m sure they’re remedying that now and will submit new legal documentation to the court— hopefully TONIGHT!

Nonsense...the county government represents the people. The people have requested this.
But serving the 159 clerks with the lawsuit will take a bit longer.

Each county controls their machines. The states doesn’t control anything.
Nobody got to the judge. Too many here are looking for something that isn’t there.
You should probably consider filming that activity.
So how much is the judge being paid by the Dems in Georgia. He has the power because it is needed to preserve from destruction in an ongoing case. Is everybody able to be bought off?

So, that means these counties could have said “We’re not going to list Joe Biden on the ticket” and nothing could be done.
Nope, logs for corporations are stored for decades. The reason for wiping them is because they cheated and don’t want a trace of what happened. Moreover, if so some reason they had storage limitations it can be very easily be backed up.
The state owns the machines and whatever the county officials are doing are at the direction of the SOS.

On November 24, a litigation hold notice was served on Fulton County which demanded that all evidence related to voting machines be preserved. Scrubbing the machines or tampering with them in any manner should NOT be occurring.
