A judge presiding over a major election lawsuit in Georgia on Sunday ordered the state to cease and desist wiping or resetting election machines.
“Defendants are ordered to maintain the status quo & are temporarily enjoined from wiping or resetting any voting machines in the State of Georgia until further order of the Court,” Judge Timothy Batten wrote in an emergency order issued Nov. 29.
Lin Wood, an attorney associated with the Trump campaign, was the first to share the news.
The plaintiffs in the lawsuit on Sunday filed an emergency motion which included a message from an election official stating that the ballot-counting machines would be reset to zero on Monday, Nov. 30, before performing a recount.
“The process will begin with an L & A – resetting the machine to “zero” to begin the recount,” the text of the message stated before discussing specifics of the recount process.
The message was part of an affidavit by a GOP poll worker filed alongside the emergency order. Upon seeing the message, the poll worker says he or she wrote to the election manager.
“Because the plan on Monday is to wipe the voting machines clean, and start from 0 so that we can recount using those machines, I’m concerned by what I am reading online,” the poll worker wrote, according to the affidavit. “I am seeing lots of notices from lawyers about possibly impounding the machines. Lawyers are now saying that the machines should be confiscated immediately before this happens to protect forensic data. They are saying those machines need to be impounded ASAP. Yikes. Maybe I’m being overly paranoid but let’s be sure this is what we’re supposed to be doing.”

Meanwhile, as we discuss who owns the machines, county or state, has anybody asked what the status of the data in those machines are?
The fraud machines most likely were wiped before November 5.

What??? Judge reversed order based on Defendants’ claim that GA Counties control voting machines.
Machines are owned by State &
@GaSecofState administers state laws on elections.
Why are GA officials determined to wipe these machines clean be resetting them?

The elections manager issued an order to reset the machines to zero Monday, November 30. The lawsuit was to enjoin him from doing so to preserve the forensic evidence. What further proof of intent should the court require? The court order enjoining them is the remedy.
Does that mean, Georgia may have to go to paper ballots only for the January Senatorial elections ?
In a sane world, mail in ballots should not be allowed and only IN PERSON allowed.
But we don’t live in a sane world.
Seen that too, why are the GA Counties being allowed to control what happens to these voting machines if there could be proof of the fraud on them, big mistake if someone is destructing evidence as the plaintiffs already know what to look for and there’s more voting machines nation wide that GA Counties are not in control of that can and will be examined.
No. They have a person tasked with this who is questioning it’s legality. It is also all over Parler, multiple sources.
Yes, true in Florida too. The original order made sense the second one, excusing county officials from complying, does not.

Reading multiple posts over multiple threads over the past weeks, these folks are involved with progs in their daily lives and the issues are more about counting coup that successfully foiling one.
They want full public confessions on CNN and MSNBC before accepting any information as valid because that is what they think will convince their friends/families/co-workers.
