In the original report I read on this incident, it was made clear that the old woman had already signed an “assisted suicide” agreement with the assisted living facility. She had every intention of having someone kill her in her advanced age at some time in her future.

Everyone seems to be accepting the family’s claims about why she accelerated her timeline and asked to have this done NOW instead of at some indeterminate time in the future.

I’m going to stick with my story that she was just a loser who was pampered through life by a socialist system that made her incapable of facing even a minimal type of hardship.

It’s in Oregon and at least one other state. Can’t remember which one but it’s slowly creeping into the United States. Scary. In 20 years, with everything extremely expensive, this will be the norm.
