Jonah Goldberg has completely lost it. He begins his sloppy screed by implying that Joe McCarthy falsely accused the people on his list of being Communists, but we now know positively that all of them actually were Communist agents or sympathizers. The Venona cables proved that when we got our hands on them after the fall of the Soviet Union. McCarthy was right!

Then he tries to equate Trump’s legal team’s efforts to illuminate the obvious, widespread 2020 election fraud to his false claim about McCarthy’s work. I am confident that, just like McCarthy, the claims of rampant vote fraud will be confirmed, though likely much more quickly than were McCarthy’s claims.

It takes a special kind of foolishness to write a column that is riddled top to bottom with error and falsehood, in which the author attacks others for allegedly making claims without evidence.

I think Goldberg’s Trump Derangement Syndrome has rotted his brain. He should be embarrassed by the childish garbage he has written.
