New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo bitterly dismissed the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling against his coronavirus restrictions on religious services, claiming the decision is “irrelevant.”
On Wednesday evening, the high court ruled in favor 5-4 with the Roman Catholic Diocese of Brooklyn and Orthodox Jewish synagogues in their lawsuit alleging Cuomo’s gathering restrictions, which limited house of worship attendance from 10 to 25 people, violated religious freedom under the First Amendment.
“The Supreme Court made a ruling. It’s more illustrative of the Supreme Court than anything else,” Cuomo told reporters on a conference call, the New York Post said. “It’s irrelevant of any practical impact because of the zone they were talking about is moot. It expired last week.”
“It doesn’t have any practical effect,” he added. “The lawsuit was about the Brooklyn zone. The Brooklyn zone no longer exists as a red zone. That’s muted. So that restriction is no longer in effect. That situation just doesn’t exist because those restrictions are gone.”
Newly-confirmed Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett sided with the bench’s conservative justices. Chief Justice John Roberts sided with liberal Justices Stephen Breyer, Elena Kagan, and Sonia Sotomayor.
The court said in an unsigned opinion that stemming the spread of the deadly and infectious coronavirus is compelling public interest, but the measures affecting places of worship are far more restrictive than measures seen in other cases that have come before the justices and tighter than those applied to worse-hit areas.

If this blatant cheating is rewarded, we lose either way. Either we eliminate their need to cheat, or we continue under the illusion that we can make a difference by voting - only to see the most unlikely, unworthy, even hated candidates come up with the number of votes necessary to overcome whatever landslide would have happened if the election were not compromised.
It is NOW OR NEVER to right this wrong. If they see that they can get away with something that is so obvious to EVERYONE on both sides, there will never again be another even semi-fair election. We become Venezuela, and before long will be too hungry to fight.
Joe Biden is an anti-President, swearing a fake oath, should he prevail. Military oath say “Obey all lawful orders”. No order an anti-President issues is lawful.
If 75% do not support President Trump BEFORE January 20, they are guilty of treason. The 25% PLUS American patriots is more than sufficient.

I don’t think either/or. But I certainly agree with fighting...just not helping the Dems destroy the country if Trump loses.

I am just as interested in Robert’s decision.
If we don’t do something about election fraud NOW, there is no hope in the future for fair elections, especially for the election in Georgia in January. No matter how many turn out, they can do what they did to Trump. I believe that both of them actually won their elections on election day, but fraud caused the runoff. I also believe that John James won his.
We used to say, “If is isn’t close they can’t cheat”. They have proven that they can cheat even when it isn’t close. If they get away with it, it’s over.
These Constitution-hating tyrants will only be stopped by force ... either force of law (assuming the federal government gets off their individual asses and does something -- anything -- about defending the Constitution) ... or by just plain old force.

You are mistaken if you think we are giving up now. It is time to fight for our country NOW like never before. We must right THIS election or there AREN’T ANY future elections that will matter.
We choose to win legally. Democrat election fraud has been going on for as long as I can remember. Close races go to the Democrats due to “finding” extra votes in trunks of cars, etc., etc., etc., . We have had enough. THIS election is the ONLY one that matters for the future of our country. If we can expose the fraud and make changes so that future elections are fraud free will will still have a free country. If we can’t, forget it, it’s over.

I never claimed anyone was giving up now. What I said is that IF we lose here, then lots of people on this site are saying - ‘yep, let the Dems have the country’. You included.
