I watched the video of this discussion after I read the article, and was struck by how the sentiment, the flavor, of Trump’s comments did not line up with the headline. But I have been observing that for four years regarding Trump. His comments were not nearly as bleak as the headlines suggested. But certainly, what else would he say.

If this were an editorial, I guess saying the claims are baseless would sort of be OK, that and putting ‘massive fraud’ in scare quotes. But if this is supposed to be a news article then AP really does stand for American Pravda.

As for the AP sticking in adjectives such as “baseless”, they just prove what we’ve know for years. This is exactly what we mean by biased media. Slipping in Adjectives where they should not be.

If Biden receives 270 electors or more it means that state legislators were willing to ignore a multistate criminal operation to deny Republicans their 4th and 14th Amendment rights to due process and equal protection under the law.
If they acquiesce to this electoral thuggery they will have disgraced themselves forever in the pages of history. If the courts also participate along with state government they will be added to the shameful list of “fake” institutions that were intended to defend the Constitution but showed cowardice when they were called by the nation to do their sworn duty.

It should not be if the electoral college on Dec 14 selects Biden. You have many states that are rushing through their certifications even though the state legislatures want to hold hearings. so it could come that electors are chosen though the state legislature objects. It isn’t until the electors vote are opened in Congress on Jan 6 that counts. Then all it takes is 1 senator and 1 congressman to object to a states electors. It may end up that those electors won’t be seated. If nobody gets the 270, then it goes to a vote in the House which Trump will win. So Trump should clarify that if Congress certifies the electors votes on Jan 6, he will leave.
