27 years in networking (started with Lantastic Dedicated Server and Novell 3.11), computer science and games development teaching with well-known schools such as the University of Maryland, University of the Philippines and several games design institutes spread over the world (think like art institute)
Software Engineering, (mainly) games and applications development, VR/ MR and AR. ProTools and Media Composer, WWise, Maya, 3DMAX, Unreal, Unity3D, Lumberyard.
I’ve since abandoned even games programming as Dalit recruiters and H1B scum have discovered this sub-field (even Cloud Imperium Games have started to hire through Indian recruiters exclusively) and will try more design-type roles.
Even before I was furloughed from MLB, we had 2 dot Indians amongst 300 people. Only interviews and hires since even coronavirus began have been dot Indian, as they hired a dot Indian VP of Technology, and he wants his own people there.
