Israeli Military Prepares For Possible Trump Preemptive Attack On Iran: Axios
USSA ^ | 11-25-2020 | Tyler Durden

With just weeks to go to President-Elect Joe Biden’s being inaugurated on January 20, Axios reports that Israel is preparing for the possibility that Trump will launch a preemptive attack on Iran.

Axios’ Barak Ravid reports from Tel Aviv that “The Israel Defense Forces have in recent weeks been instructed to prepare for the possibility that the U.S. will conduct a military strike against Iran before President Trump leaves office, senior Israeli officials tell me.”

While not citing specific intelligence, Ravid says Israeli military and intelligence leaders are anticipating “a very sensitive period” just ahead of the inauguration and Trump’s exiting the White House.

According to the report:

The IDF’s preparedness measures relate to possible Iranian retaliation against Israel directly or through Iranian proxies in Syria, Gaza and Lebanon, the Israeli said.

Meanwhile, are we already witnessing the first ‘provocation’ which is to be blamed on Iran as pretext?

Earlier this month The New York Times reported that President Trump had to be talked out of preemptive strikes on Iran by his own top advisers, who warned it could easily spiral into a major war in only the last weeks of his presidency.

That report included the following mention that not all “options” may have been placed off the table at that time:

After Mr. Pompeo and General Milley described the potential risks of military escalation, officials left the meeting believing a missile attack inside Iran was off the table, according to administration officials with knowledge of the meeting.

Mr. Trump might still be looking at ways to strike Iranian assets and allies, including militias in Iraq, officials said.

Why, so any number of Americans can die in a war with Iran late this year, just for Biden to pay out billions of American dollars to help Iran “rebuild” early next year?

I don’t buy it for a second.

Besides, our biggest enemy is not Iran nor Russia nor China nor N. Korea. Our biggest enemy is residing within our borders, and it’s called: The Democrat Party.

The biggest enemy to our country is operating within our borders, and it’s called: The Democrat Party.

That sounds something more like what Biden neo-cons would do. I seriously doubt that 45 would pull such a stunt.

Um no to formally stand with our main allie in the fight against our common enemy the islamic fascist republic of Iran who seeks to destroy both our nations.
Or do you wish for judgment from God himself for not standing with his people against an enemy who wishes to destroy them and conquer the lands promised to them by his holy word? I know that Alt-right NeoCom (Neo-Communist) socialist nationalist isolationism anti-semitism is all the rage on this forum nowadays but if you wish for this nation to have any kind of hope of prosperity at all despite Sleepy’s coming presidency or long after you’ll gladly support President Trump on this endeavor while also praying for our soliders, and those of the Jewish nation
as the Lord’s words reign true.

The latest in regards to Iranian nuke program was fuel being loaded into cascades of sophisticated centrifuges for the purposes of enriching armament grade nuclear stocks.

Anyone else read this?

If this is a true story, a red line would have been crossed in that the use of these sophisticated centrifuges would dramatically shorten the nuclear breakout period, thus putting global/Mideast peace in jeopardy. May be the reason for the recent alignment of countries within peace accords with Israel.

If Pompeo, Pence, Netanyahu, and MBS tell Trump to attack Iran, he’ll do it. All four of them are eager to start that war for various reasons, and Trump’s only interest is screwing Biden as hard as he possibly can. Starting a war against a traditional GOP boogeyman will play well among most of the base, who will fall in line and Support The Troops and ignore another few trillion dollars in off the books deficit spending (”contingency funding”), as long as it is done by a Republican president and Senate.

Then, once Biden is installed, the corporatist Republicans will miraculously remember their deficit bona fides and starve the military - along with the rest of the budget, but not those Boomer benefits; that’s not Socialism because Reasons - and Biden’s foreign policy will be hamstrung while the Saudis (and Russians) sit back and watch their coffers grow ever more full as oil prices skyrocket while another endless war proceeds apace.

I despise this country’s relationship with Saudi Arabia. We should depose the House of Saud and give Mecca and Medina to the Palestinians. At least Israel is a functioning representative democracy.

It’s hard not to be cynical after living through the “conservative” Bush 43 administration. Apparently, five trillion dollars in deficit spending is A-OK to attack and occupy countries with resources we want for multinational corporations, but not to put food on American tables during a once in a lifetime national disaster. I’ll never understand that.

Eliminate those dangerous Iranian nuclear bombs with the icbm’s iran plans to destroy America with. Get it done now. If there’s a D administration it will only provide the crazy mullahs with more money and help — and protection- like Obama did — to enable them to amass an even larger abd more deadly arsenal. ( this can be done from the air without a ground invasion force even being needed. We know exactly where their “kill Anerica the Great Satan” weapons are).

Let Israel deal with it. They now have Arab states that recognize their right to exist. Iran is more of a threat to them than the jewish state.
