If you like donuts, then you’ll love Sheetz new limited-edition craft beer.
Sheetz announced Monday the convenience store chain is releasing their new beer called “Project Happy Hole-idayz.” The beer is brewed with one pound per barrel of the Shweetz Glazed Vanilla Donut holes.
Brewed with vanilla donut holes, this new beer is a deep golden pale ale with notes of freshly baked donuts, vanilla frosting, graham crackers, honey, and malted barley. The new beer will available starting Friday at more than 400 Sheetz locations across Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Virginia. You can find the locations HERE.
Sheetz partnered with Wicked Weed Brewing Company to create the new beer. You can buy four packs of 16 oz cans for $7.99, and will only be available while supplies last.
Something about that just doesn’t sound right...
Just plain weird, in a donutty wonderful way....
Hell it’s stout sheetz, 6% alcohol.
I want beer to taste like, um, beer.
I agree, wawa suks donut holes
I think craft beers have jumped the shark. Whatever happened to water, yeast, malt and hops?
Sheetz beer. The jokes will write themselves...
Not sheetz, but I wish Wawa was here in Europe, could use my special BLT on a bagel with Swiss cheese about now.
:)
We left that in Germany.
Honestly this is not so far fetched as a beer concept, it is brewed with grain and sugar, weird damn marketing but hey, it has to be better than pumpkin beer
I suppose that more palatable than been that tastes like Sheetz.
Thing I hate about craft beer these days is the utter lack of diversity. Sometimes I just want a nice red or an amber, or even a lager or a stout, and the bartender always sais we don’t have anything like that but we have 17 varieties of IPA. Double, triple, quadruple, and even a bottle of concentrated hops paste. If the establishment is sufficiently hipster, they even have an IPA with kale and Tibetian yak spit
OMG! LOL
Just kidding. I'm sure it's a fine tasting beer. 'Course, the only way to know for sure is for someone to send me a couple of cases.
Yep! Mr sneakers used to be a manager at a Sheetz! Long time ago!
“Sheetz is the BEST convenience store/gas station/coffee place/choke-n-puke ever”
Yep, never any long lines at cashier, bathrooms are always spotless, good selection of food, easy and wide parking
Back in the late 80’sdriving to the Sarlisle auto swap meet we would get off one exit and go to a Sheetz and load up on roast beef sandwiches at 4:30 am. They were incredible. Wish they still had them.
