Actually this is a case that should make it to the SCOTUS. It's a equal protection issue, and Rudy more then proved the case. Ballots were not treated equally. This judge made excuses to dismiss the case. Now do I think the SCOTUS will rule differently? No, in the end they are part of the bureaucracy which will always protect itself. I think the best we can hope for is enough outrage that future elections will be more secure. But even that is a long shot.

That’s not really how elections work in the US. We don’t have nationwide elections we have 50 individual state elections. So no, I don’t see how that would work.
