Why the Status Quo Wants Trump Out
American Thinker.com ^ | November 21, 2020 | Jay Latimer

I confess to having been utterly naïve. I had wondered why on Earth the business community would prefer a frail and corrupt president Biden over a pro-business president Trump. Trump has a track record of economic growth and stands for lower regulations and taxes, fairer international trade, and a stronger military. Biden wants to increase taxes and regs and put in place a number of new initiatives like the Green New Deal that might bankrupt the economy. But Wall Street, the tech industry, and many more backed Biden, while even many GOP congressmen seemed lukewarm to Trump.

The choice for Trump seemed so obvious, what was I missing?

The difference is the status quo. A lot of people make lots of money the way things are now. They constitute a powerful force that seeks to get rid of inconvenient obstacles — especially a serial disruptor like President Trump.

Let's take Amgen, for example. A biopharmaceutical company, Amgen has annual revenues of $23 billion with profits of $7.8 billion. Much of Amgen's sales and profitability are dictated by rules and regulations set by the U.S. government. Much of Amgen's ability to access its consumers is through the U.S. government's auspices, whether it be FDA drug approvals, Medicare drug pricing, or other controlling regulations.

So if you were Amgen, and you relied on the U.S. government for much of your revenue, how much would you be willing to spend each year on lobbying in Washington? Certainly $1 million would be a drop in the bucket compared to that $7.8 billion in profits. Would you spend $5 million, $10 million? What if there was important legislation underway, like another health care overhaul? Might you want to increase your lobbyist spending further into the hundreds of millions?

Sidney Powell has significant evidence: “....of foreign interference into the US election by the worst communist countries on Earth".......

That could only mean "spygate" Obama is about to be exposed........again.
Obama is a longtime hater of Trump, and would do anything to eject him from the WH.

Obama's only way out is to force Biden to concede NOW before Sidney exposes their election machinations.

Hunter was Obama's gofer.......Obama gave the unelected Hunter (w/ not even a diplomatic portfolio) Secret Service protection
(and possibly govt aircraft and staff) to travel the globe, rounding up the participants.

==================================================

REFERENCE S/S records show Hunter's seemingly inexplicable trips to foreign countries and territories
between June 2009 and May 2014, numbering 411 trips in all.

The S/S records were also provided, but not made public, were a response to Senate Finance Committee Chair Chuck
Grassley and Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee Chair Ron Johnson to Secret Service
Director James Murray on Feb 2020

In the S/S's cover letter to Grassley and Johnson, the S/S implied it had EVEN MORE evidence, saying that they
could only provide a limited amount of information by the senators’ imposed turnaround time of Feb 19.

Given the foreign influence about to be exposed, Hunter’s extensive international travel during the Obama-
Biden admin.....including at least 5 trips to Communist China......will certainly raise additional questions. ///////According to various reports, Vice President Joe Biden, his son Hunter Biden and Hunter's daughter, Finnegan, flew on
Air Force Two for an "official trip" to Beijing in December 2013 paid for by taxpayers on behalf of the US govt.

The records show Hunter Biden arrived in Tokyo on December 2, 2013, and departed for Beijing two days later.
While it is typical for families to travel on official trips, questions have been raised about whether Hunter Biden
used the tax-paid government trip to further his personal business interests and whether VP Biden's tax-paid
staff, govt phones and office supplies served to facilitate Hunter's business interests in China.

NBC reporter Josh Lederman, who was one of four reporters on the December 2013 trip, noted in an October 2, 2019, report that, “What wasn’t known then was that as he accompanied his father to China, Hunter Biden was forming a Chinese private equity fund that associates said at the time was planning to raise big money, including from China.”

During the last year and a half of the Obama administration, Hunter Biden served on the board of Ukrainian energy's Burisma Holdings while his VP father was heading up Ukraine policy for Obama.

NOTE There are dozens of FOIA requests related to Hunter Biden’s dealings with the Ukrainian Burisma Holdings and his Chinese BHR Partners.

This is a very well-written and illustrative article.

I understand the whole scenario much more after reading it.

Corporate America will join the government in draining the blood from working Americans. And when the workers are drained dry, slavery will be the only option left.

Several weeks back the crew at TruNews showed how many millions of dollars were funneled from China to Obama via Hunter to fund Obama’s stay-behind operations in D.C.

Latimer makes some good points, but he is only barely covering what is occurring. He's not just utterly naive, he is also ignorant. I highly suggest that anyone who writes about politics take a few courses in finance and own and operate a small business. Government and Big Business are tied at the hip. And by the way, the nation's largest employers, as a group, are small businesses. It would behoove any journalist to understand what small business owners want and what they do for a living.

The Truth.

The new aristocracy - bureaucrats and corporate “executives” - want to kill the King, and install a pretender.

We’ve seen this movie before.

Why? Because every member of today's Rat Party is a Swamp Creature and a noticeable percentage of those who call themselves Republicans are as well.

After decades of Presidential Elections I’ve come to the conclusion that there is an “under the table” handshake to divide up the Presidency between the two major parties.

When the Republicans have a strong candidate, the Dems run a weak one. Think Mondale, Dukakis, Gore and Kerry.

When the Dems have a strong candidate, the Republicans run weak ones like Dole, McCain and Romney.

In the election of 2016, Hillary was the strong candidate, deemed the next President, all polls show her winning. Trump was the “weak” candidate against her. But TRUMP WON! And the hidden powers that be cannot abide that, so the FIX was in for Braindead Biden to win this election to show Trump that he was not one of the “chosen few” the elites wanted to win.

Can’t help it but that is now the way I see it.

I can understand why you might have concluded that. But remember we pick out candidates in the primary. It’s far more likely that strong candidates simply choose not to run this time around when faced with a strong opponent. Most of the time you only get one shot, why waste your one opportunity going up against a Reagan.

What did he leave out or fail to understand?

As a former small business owner who survived 8 years of Obama in what many consider a 3rd world hellhole, I think Latimer has it about right.

It’s because ALL of Washington DC is CORRUPT.

For the past 4 years, ALL of our wonderful elected REPRESENTATIVES having “losing” money because of the outsider - Trump, who has entered the chicken coop.

They want him gone so that they ALL can continue to raid the chicken coop like they always have.

It’s as simple as that.

I apologize, I was not very coherent in my post. Too many things going on this morning. What I think he left out was the positive side of the story that provides contrast to big business. It is one thing to point out how the largest of businesses benefit from their relationship with government. The argument becomes even stronger when it is contrasted to small and medium business. Small and medium businesses are pro-Trump because they are not on the government gravy train. There are a tons more small businesses than big. I did say he made some good points, he's only scratching the surface.

By the way, I am not anti-big business. I am just anti-big-business-tied-at-the-hip-with-government.

I’m old enough to remember when Republicans wanted to keep the status quo for big business and Democrats wanted to change things.

As a multi-billionaire, he's had to deal with adversity- In New York he successfully dealt with Unions and the Mob. However, his subordinates were loyal to him, and executed his orders as best they could, as quickly as possible. In Washington, he not only has to deal with the Democrats, but many of his fellow Republicans and subordinates undercut everything he's been trying to do. He gives an order, and most of his cabinet slow-walks it, buries it, does all the things that are opposite of executing his orders.

Fact of the matter is, most national and State Republican officeholder despise Trump as much as the Progs do. The GOP insiders want to be able to go back to the cool Georgetown Brie-vin-cocaine-and-adrenochrome parties, where if they're lucky they'll get to drink the blood of illegal immigrant children, and perhaps score some moisturizer made from aborted fetuses.
