I give thanks on a regular basis I live in the state I do...with a governor that has common sense and is not drunk on power. Haven’t heard the 1st thing about lockdowns or T-giving restrictions here.

I wonder if these insane restrictions are making folks rethink their political affiliation? I would not say Texas is completely open but it isn’t locked down and people go about their business. The same is true in Florida. They don’t seem to be doing any worse than California or NY.

No mention of grocery stores being open. Maybe the plan is to starve people into submission.

So much of what is happening today was considered conspiracy theory just 9 months ago.

So once they’ve successfully killed off every vestige of Western Civ (holidays, sports, schools, churches, families, you know the list), what will replace it?

Yes, the State of course. But who/what will be the face of it? Will they try to supplant God with a person (ala the “great leaders” of yore?). Or will it be Gaia?

Just some idle speculation.

I certainly would, but with some people you never know.

Why would anyone give this “directive” the time of day? What should be happening is lawsuit filings up the wazoo and a huge middle finger to newsom whilst the lawsuits wind their way through court. In the meantime, enjoy a huge thanksgiving gathering with whomever you choose. Holiday celebrations have nothing to do with politics so politics should have nothing to do with holiday gatherings. Not their business

_ itchmore topped Newsome—ony two households can meet here. Did not hear about any restrictions on Black Friday.

My family gets together once a month to play games now, there are not many variables for Thanksgiving so would not make a difference.

Here's California's would-be Dracos having a dinner at the most expensive restaurant in Napa just the other day:

Nobody is going to file any lawsuits over this because nobody takes the orders serious enough to waste even one dollar of their money on it. The “orders” will be routinely ignored, and nobody is going to do anything about it.

Why these restaurants and anyone else puts up with this I do not know. If I lived in a smallish town and had a restaurant I would contact as many owners as possible and band together to open . I would get popular opinion on my side. Of course it might be derailed by employees who refuse to work but my gosh they’re going to comply until they die.

It’s ridiculous to limit the number of households.. One household, where people are out and about, are just as likely to spread it to each other. The number of households is meaningless. It’s more divide and conquer.

It happens...I frequent them, and employees are happy to work and pick up MAGA tips. Cops allow it.

It’s only wrecked if you let him wreck it. Ultimately, they can only do what we let them do.

I’m old enough to remember bra burning.

Mask burnings are an awesome idea!
