He was trolling multiple threads last night, I first took notice when he attacked one of my posts. My post was vanity on what I heard on a livestream. I couldn’t find a news article written on the topic, hence I labeled the post as a vanity. It didn’t need to be attacked. RummyChick quickly backed what I wrote with the actual court filing. That’s how FR should work and works a lot of the time.

Yes. Glad he’s gone, but he will probably be back under a new identity.

Most likely a false positive and if not he will be just fine. 1000 yr old sen grassley tested positive and even he has no symptons

I’m not sure what “normalizing” you are looking at, but the only one that would seem to make sense would be fatalities per 1M population. So, I took a look over on Worldometers, and there is only sizeable one country that falls in the range you state. (One other is significantly lower yet.) You seem disinclined to state the country’s name, so I’ll only say it is a well known Asian country (but not China). Ditto for the other country noted above.

This is NOT a valid comparison. Both these Asian countries mitigated very early, very strongly, and in ways (esp. with regards to contact tracing, privacy, and surveillance of the population) that are 10x past even a Biden Administration collective wet dream. This strongly affects the spread of the disease, which sees exponents in the equations that describe how a socio-biological phenomenon like COVID-19 behaves.

(This is roughly analogous to two similar fertile, shallow ponds, side by side. One has a few grass carp in it, the other does not. By mid summer, the 2nd pond is choked with weeds - an example of a period of exponential growth. The 1st pond is virtually weed free - a much bigger than even a 1000 to 1 difference in the weeds’ biomass. This happens because the grass carp ate virtually all the early weeds in the pond with the grass carp and the weeds never got established there beyond the carp’ ability to eat almost all of them. Therefor the exponential growth never happened there.)

OTOH, the fatality rate per known infection is a quite controversial number (coming from two numbers controversial themselves!), but still... A comparison of the fatality rate per known infection, for each country, produces the interesting result of 2.68% for the country you are in and 2.12% for the US: Not that much different.

Clarification to last post, last paragraph: Replace the word “known” with “reported”.

I tested positive two weeks ago , still no symptoms.

NONE, as in ZERO

I did not want to take the test , but was forced under duress by my employer and was then forced to 'quarantine" with no symptoms for 2 weeks

The Pandemic is phony EVENT 201 BS

Yes there is such a thing as COLDS and FLU, but now the Globalist Overlords have used it to control us in their grand extortion racket

IT WAS NO DOUBT PART OF THE PLAN TO REQUIRE MAIL IN BALLOTS

I am still “holding” at 4 fatalities within 1 person close to me away (ie. someone a close family member directly knows) and one person I knew directly (family friend, not quite a mentor but definitely someone I saw as an in person role model). All were active people & appeared to be in reasonably good health B4 ill with Covid-19, except that last person who was physically not in bad shape but he did have dementia and was living in a facility for such that got a number of cases — I’d assume he got whacked with a pretty high viral exposure and the bad COVID-19 case triggered something early... Plus, that was early on; he was isolated & his family could not see him — that HAS to be a negative factor. :-(

In our area but not a friend or acquaintance, a mid-teens girl has been reported as a COVID-19 fatality. Active person, but with compromised immune system and obese. Looks like COVID took that to the house, as the sports types would say. Very rare case for that age group.

Covid doing what a virus does...spreads...and degree it doses as well as how soon medical treatment is sought matters I would think.

Thank you very much for the info. I think the issue is people around Trump get tested more often, and actually tell the truth about testing positive. Notice the Democrats are not household names.

I agree. Why does Don Jr. even tell the press that he has it. Hope he feels ok.

have you ever noticed how you don’t hear of many democrats in congress/senate testing positive. Just a little local biological warfare.

Elon musk did not have 4 PCR tests in one day, he had 4 rapid tests.

That said, the PCR tests aren’t really meant to test for specific strains of viruses and indicate infection per se. Just that there is RNA / protein in the sample - however minute of a trace it might be after amplification and multiple cycles.

Good digging. Solid thinking on your part. I'll go with that.

In the end it all depends upon mitigation measures. And the population to deaths ratios reflect that (factoring in all of the disparities and just plain terrible reporting everywhere).

Still, the allegedly "severe" and "dictatorial" measures employed in several countries were actually very short term and relatively painless (while being very inconvenient).

There’s climate, too. Look at IL in USA. Cases & fatalities low through summer, with one of the stronger (although in my opinion quite flawed) mitigation suites in the US. Fall hit, and good God.

I think another difference is that in the US, not only did the virus get a good foothold before mitigation cut in, but we have a large contingent of the populace who mitigate poorly (mask over mouth but not nose - let’s see who can attain orbit with a sneeze), and another that rejects it entirely. I guess in the pond analogy, one would say “too late, and too few carp”.

As suspiciously timed as POTUS’ infection. Hopefully, he’ll bounce back stronger than ever, just like his dad.

You have to find them in their coffins and drive a wooden stake through their hearts, if they have any. Daylight works, too.
